I won't do the lunge where the front leg is on the floor and the back leg is elevated on the 8-10 inch step. No way, no how. This move sends my back knee into suck extreme, sharp pain that I just can't walk up the stairs for a week. I do not do this at all. I substitue by doing a one-legged squat by putting all my weight on one foot and squatting with that, while the other foot is right next to my base foot up on the toe just barely touching the floor for balance.
I also hate tricep dips because my wrists hurt from them. I do about half or as many as I can, then I do seated overhead french press.
