Cathe, is there any workout that you just DREAD?

Every week I have to psych myself up to make it to the gym & do the dreaded leg workout. It just sucks every ounce of energy out of me, although afterwards I feel like I've achieved something major (which is a little silly considering I do it every week).

So, I was just curious, is there any workout or body part for which you have to really mentally prepare yourself? I'd feel so much better if I knew my hero goes through the same thing I do!@ ;-)

let me guess, you dread stepping LOL

LauraMax - I go through the same thing sometimes! I wish it was easy to get up and go all of the time, but sometimes you just 'don't feel like it'! Dang that feeling! x( :D

Hi Laura! Here is a link to what Cathe answered some time ago. I also dread legwork but like you, feel so accomplished once I do it! I dread push-ups more then anything I think. Here is Cathe's link:

Hi Laura....Oh yes, trust me, I go through it too. You are not alone. Funny, after reading Debbie's link (thanks Deb), I cracked up at how it hasn't changed much at all. Still feel pretty much the same about all of those body parts. Except legs of course, which I am now doing simple stretching and strengthening therapy exercises rather than a typical leg workout. I really miss my typical cardio activities though :)

WOW! What a surprise! I thought chest and biceps would be your absolute favorites because you work us so hard on these!!!! I have actually started doing the biceps first on the GS so that I can get them out of the way!! But, I too, love the results! Thanks!

Well, this certainly explains the bicep torture in Muscle Endurance, yes? What are there, like 600 reps in that one???

PS: I dread doing legs because I know that no one will be able to even bump into my thighs the next day without me threatening to karate-chop them!
