Cathe in the Fire Station!

Good morning Cathe! I just thought I would let you know that my husband has requested your videos for the fire house. The district he works for has just opened an outlying station and it is not quite stocked up on everything. One of the many areas that needs attention is the "gym".....there isn't one. They actually have no equipment whatsoever, and with so many other areas needing attention, it may be a while before they are able to check this off the list. Anyway, knowing that I get in a terrific workout in a limited space, and for minimal money compared to......just about anything, he asked if he could have my videos for the station Imagine my shock! He has told the guys all about the tapes, especially the weight ones like Power Hour that have no dancing, and they are into it. Of course I told him he better not touch my videos (like a good wife/Cathe addict) but they could take a collection plate and I would help them order. Stay tuned!

That’s great! I thought maybe you went on a tour of a fire station and there was a picture of Cathe in her bike shorts and sports bra hanging up. But that is great! They will be the fittest firemen out there!

Hey JillyBean, that might happen after they get a look at Cathe! Dani, I think it is great you have gotten your DH so into Cathe and now he is introducing her to his fellow firefighters! Keep us posted as to how the firefighters like the workouts!;-)

I can honestly say that this would not bother me one bit! Normally I don't like the idea of "girly pics" hanging up, but Cathe and her crew are different. I don't mind my husband or sons looking because she portrays such an image of health and fitness that is not sleazy in any way. In fact the first thing my husband said when he saw her was "Wow, she has muscles!"

Wow Dani, that is great! Do you have DVD's??? If not, I THINK you should give him all your vids and have him replace them with DVD's and a player! :7

You know that is exactly what I was thinking! I only recently got all of Cathe on VHS, but with the new Body Blast coming out I switched my order to DVD. Now I want to move all of my videos and replace them, so I did consider some sort of thing like that. I am not generous enough to donate them, so I may make an offer. What started the whole ball rolling was my husbands captain. She brought in Abs of Steel and made him do it with her. Now if you can only imagine how funny my husband looks when trying any sort of dancey warm up, you would be crying with laughter. This is when he brought up my videos, and how "they are a serious workout"....another compliment for Cathe! Everyone was very interested, but I may have to tease them a little by loaning them out once. This just scares me a bit, cause they are mine, mine, mine}(

Dani, I know what you mean about loaning the videos!! NO WAY! LOL!! When I talk about Cathe at work, people want to borrow a tape, and I hand them a catalog instead!! LOL! I save the ones they send with each order and take them to work. I'm not loaning out my Cathe videos!! LOL!!

I don't loan mine out, either. They are WAY too precious Only my dear mother and boyfriend get to touch these videos. And they're safe with my BF, because he's not disciplined enough to use them x( Very frustrating.

I am SO IMPRESSED that your husband not only wants to use these videos, but that he wants to share with his coworkers. I guess after being forced to use Buns of Steel in front of everybody, it wouldn't be that difficult to upgrade to Cathe

Definitely use this opportunity to get yourself DVDs! It seems like the perfect chance.

RE: loaning vidoes

All I can say is never again. I loaned out the whole PS series and couldn't remember to whom. Well, a year went by. After asking everyone I could think of if I loaned it to them, they didn't turn up.

Finally I had to rebuy the series. At least I switched to DVD.
