Thank you so much for the blog update! :7 I love, love, love the new set! :7 Oh my word! I love sets with big windows, and this one looks so real. I thought I might miss the 4-Day Split set, but the STS set is my new favorite! What city is outside the window?

I love Nike clothes and shoes. The outfits are simple, and the color is bright and beautiful. The overall look is cheerful and energizing. :)

I am visually inspired, so details like the set and outfits are very important to my enjoyment of a series. Seeing this picture makes me very happy. :) I am so excited and waiting for these workouts with great expectation! :7

Cathe, only you can get this fun-loving cardio queen so excited about a serious weight training series! ;-) Have a blessed weekend, and get some sleep tonight! :)

Back when I was asking about the set design I said I liked the most recent warehouse-style set The Firm used and I'm so glad you went in this direction. It's a nice clean, uncluttered look. Very nice.

OMG that brick work looks so real!! I can't get over how they can change the set like that -- I love it!
 
I don't want to upset anyone, however, why can't those spunky guys be wearing, black or red and tight (workout pants not shorts) shorts too? I like everyone to match and for me, while the new set is great, I don't like the assortment of clothing. I'm buying a professionally made workoout video, the outfits (while granted are a minor in significance to some) but very important to me. I have been known to be put off other dvds because "I don't like the look of the clothes"

And to those of you who are going to all hot and bothered by my thoughts, I can guarantee you 1. I am not alone, there are many many posts about "what Cathe is wearing etc", look back over the years even recently, "cathe was pictured wearing glasses!!!" and 2. my mind or thoughts will not change, I don't like baggy knee length shorts, and I like color co-ordination.

I don't know about you guys, but I find the whole setting very "I'll go with my buddies at the gym". I love it!!!! Not at all "comme il faut"... more "let's get down and serious and spread some heavy sweat onto those tank-tops"!

Yes, that's it exactly and I love it! Of course, I first had to google
"comme il faut" :p . I'm always excited to add a new phrase to my lexicon :7
 
Love the whole set and the outfits! Like others have posted--the set is very bright and cheerful. As far as the guys attire, just my opinion but I think potential male purchasers of STS would have been put off by "matchy matchy" outfits on the guys so I think the "regular guy" attire was a good marketing call. JMHO.

I LOVE the set! Seeing you actually doing the real workouts makes me even more excited, if possible! It is so fun to see new cast members and of course, the oldies too! Good Luck the rest of the month. I am TRYING to be patient but I want these NOW!!!

I know -- it all looks so fabulous! It's just getting harder and harder to wait, though!;-) Do you all think that we'll get more photos today? Wouldn't that be great?!
 
I just LOVE the new set too - It is just so bright and inspiring really - Cathe and crew really outdo themselves each time when planning the set!!

Love the outfits too - If the guys were wearing matchy-matchy outfits - I think it would be a total turnoff - they are real men at the gym..... oh - real HOT men at the gym!!! me likey...
 
Cathe and the crew is in a "New York State Of Mind". I love the pic of the Empire State Building. It reminds me of one of those very expensive apartments views on the upper east side. The ones I dream about ;-)
 
I can't wait! But I need to get ready! I pulled out CTX this week to get back into working out. The set looks good and as far as outfits...I would not have minded if they wore what they did in the rehearsal pics! It's a Cathe product, it'll be awesome!
 
The STS Gym Look

I am not upset. Everyone has different taste in clothes. I am very visually inspired too, so I understand. In my opinion, the overall look is aesthetically pleasing. Black tank tops would have been fine too, but they look great as they are. The guys I know do not wear coordinating outfits to the gym, so this is a more authentic look! Cathe has created more of a gym atmosphere to fit the serious heavy weight focus of this series. The shorts do not look baggy to me (but I did see baggy shorts in the rehearsal pictures). This is what guys wear at the club where I am a member. I like masculine men, and these outfits are just right for the guys in my opinion. I am more inspired by everyone’s arms and shoulders than their outfits, but I do understand that the “look” of a workout can affect your enjoyment of it. I need a bright and airy set that is not dark and gloomy because workouts that appear to be filmed in a basement are depressing to me. The only Cathe set I do not like is the room with the fireplace in the corner that is in her early step workouts. It makes me feel confined for some reason. I love bright colors too, so I am happy with the tops Cathe and the girls are wearing. Doing STS will feel like working out with a bunch of fit friends wearing the kind of clothes I see in real life. All this in the comfort and privacy of my workout room! Out of curiosity, I would like to see a picture of the shorts you had in mind for the guys.

Fannie, I love the TLT set. My heart smiles when the dolphins are playing in the background! :) I need to revisit those workouts to start practicing the gliding moves before STS arrives.
