I knwo this is an old post, but I agree that doing the Firm can make your lower body big. Its happened to me. I think it has to do with doing leg presses and squats, but not in high rep sequences like Cathe. Cathe does so many reps that it forces you to lighten up which I think leans us out more. Also, I find Cathe's cardio workouts and cardio+weight segments to be more effective. So if you tighten the muscle underneath but don't the fat off the top, it can make you look and feel bigger. This is what happened to me. Now I only use the older classic and mid-era firms, the newer stuff just doesn't agree with me.
