Hi Cathe - Just wanted to inquire as to how you and your family are doing after Hampton's death. I know you're initially in shock and then the heartache sets in. I hope you are doing o.k. and know that we are all thinking of you.

Thank you Mar, and all others, for your tender-hearted thoughts. It has really been a very emotional week. The nights have been especially hard since the house is quiet after the kids go to bed and I start thinking (remembering). The kids continue to ask questions in their little innocent ways and I find myself getting choked up trying to answer. And although we put away all of his things(it hurts to leave them out) we always seem to come across something that belonged to Hampton. The vets, hospital, family, friends, and ALL OF YOU, have been so extremely compassionate with your thoughtful notes, well wishes, and support. I'm so grateful to be surrounded by so many good hearts.

Cathe, it's so nice that you mentioned how kind the vet has been. When we put our cat down, they actually sent us a card that everyone in the office had signed. They're incredible people, aren't they? I'm sure everyone here is thinking of you and your family.
