What a great turnout on a frigid day!!! It was also great to meet Laura, Chrissy, Gayle and Jeannie (and Gayle's boys, too, who were so well behaved!!!) What a fun group of people. Hope all who had to travel made it back safely. Look forward to doing it again soon.

What a wonderful morning! The class was so much fun and I could have kept going. My enthusiasm didn't match Ellie's though. She'll think of it quite often as she watches the bruise appear from her slip on the step. Despite this little mishap, she rivaled the energizer bunny(Cathe) and kept going and going! it was tons of fun and I loved seeing the gang again. Jeannie, WHAT A SURPRISE! I was shocked and thrilled to see you! Texas really isn't THAT far away!
After the step portion of the class, we did upper body. Oh my, I'll be feeling this tomorrow.

Five Points diner called our names after class and we dutifully followed. Yum, yum! We sat around and talked about everything.

I'll leave the details to the rest of the gang - Gayle,Jerry, Ellie, Jeannie, Laura, Chrissy, Dianna. When are we doing it again??

BTW, Gayle isn't in the picture as her dear son accidentally cut her off!

Hi everyone.
I made it home in about 3 hrs. I was cruisin', until I hit brooklyn. I guess at that pt it was rush hour. I had a great time. It was so awesome to meet everyone. I am looking foward to the next outing! Thank you for making me feel like we have been always been friends. You guys are great group of people. I wish I lived closer to all of you.

Cathe- it was a great class. I had so much fun. I love the energy in your "live" classes. Thank you for taking the time and having lunch with us. It was great chatting with you. You are so sweet.

Ellie- How are you feeling? Any "memories from class" showing up on your bottom yet? He he. Thank you for the invitation.

Jeannie- Thanks for the company this morning. I still can't believe you came from Texas just for the night.

Dianna- Sorry you missed the class but it was great you got to come for brunch and meeting you.

Jerry- it was great to finally put the face to the posts. I love reading all you posts. You make me laugh!

Alright. Jean ended up coming home with me and the boys. We drove from and thru Philly and a ton of traffic, but we made it safely after stopping and shopping at IKEA!!!!

Ellie fell off her step during class today. Cathe stopped to make sure she was okay!!!

She was fine, red-faced and gracefully embarassed, but fine! She continued like a trooper!!!

It was a blast! My weekend started at Ellie's Thursday night and it's continuing tonight with Jean staying the night to visit. I'll be dropping her off at the airport in the morning for her return flight!!! WHAT FUN!

Cathe thank you so much for a great class and taking time out of your day to have brunch with us. What a treat.

Tri-Staters, thank you for allowing me to invade your territory and join in the festivities. Does that make me an honorary Tri-Stater? Maybe I can make another one in the future if you'll have me.

It was so great meeting and re-meeting everyone. If was so much fun. As Gayle mentioned, I'm staying the night with Gayle and her boys so I guess that's just the icing on the cake of my wonderful weekend.

Oh and yes my arms are tired, but that's because of Cathe's killer workout, no from flying.

One minute the STEP was there and the next it just vanished!!! I think someone pulled it away or something. The fall was pretty similar to a graceful off the left side of the step- flip over the back, land on the right side with feet straight up in the air. I think it should be added to Cathe's step routines or at least funniest home videos!!!!

And I was having so much fun I didn't even feel it!!! Until about an hour ago. My hiney hurts!!!

Hey, someone has to be the entertainment!!! I thought my sense of humor was enough but this time I just "kicked it up a notch"!!!!!!

HAD A BLAST

Hi Tri Staters! Did we all have fun or what? It sure was special cracking the whip with all of you this morning and refueling our hard working bodies at brunch (..hey no fair...who stuck that money back in my purse, ha. You guys are sneaky!!!). Well, thank you so much in every way for all your fun and company today. Not only is it an honor to have you come take class, but way beyond that, it is especially nice to see how close you have all become and make a whole day (or two, even three for you Gayle) out of these get togethers. I really enjoyed some quality time with you at brunch, thank you for inviting me to join you.


Jerry, thanks for being the ring leader of the tri-state reunions. You do it so well. I couldn’t quite put my finger on why you looked different to me and looking at the pictures I realize you have a beard and mustache making a subtle appearance. It looks great on you. Let me know how Cardio Kicks goes for you too.

Laura, it was so nice to have you join us this time. You look fantastic and your stories were cracking me up. I’m also super impressed with your home improvement skills…keep on painting, hammering, calking, and sanding. You go girl!

Phyllis, you always have this great big wonderful smile. I enjoyed sitting next to you and Dianna at brunch and having some chatter. I wish your daughter luck in deciding on her college of choice.

Dianna, you looked smashing in that suit, thanks for coming to meet us after your morning work session. I hadn’t seen you in months and it was nice to reconnect.

Ellie, my dear dear graceful Ellie, lol, how are you feeling tonight? A little sore, wink? Had so much fun hearing all of your funny stories. You are a riot. It's also nice to know that I have company in trying to learn at least one new thing a day. I learned a lot about everyone today

Jeannie- I'm still amazed that you FLEW IN all the way from Texas (such a cute accent too) for this get together. Now that’s dedication, wink. I had a great time having some quality time with you. What a sweetie you are. I hope you and Gayle are having a fun time bringing the party to a close tonight.

Gayle, I think I have spent more time with you now than all of the road trips combined…isn’t that funny? You are so sweet and so are your boys. Wow, they were awesome sitting through all of that chatter. My boys would have not lasted that long. I thanked them for being so great about letting us all chat. I showed my sons the picture of me with your boys and they cracked up and started imitating our pose. Eric said “mom, you forgot to put up your pinkies”. LOL

Chrissy, it was fun getting to know you better today. Your NY accent is so neat to hear too. You had quite a drive and I appreciate the fact that you drove that far to take class and most importantly bond with the bunch. Let me know how you do with your weighted gloves.

A rather nice case of DOMS has set in from yesterday!!

When I threw the idea out there about forming a Tri-State group, yesterday's event was what I was shooting for. Not only did we have a great workout together, we got to laugh about it afterward, and enjoy each others' company awhile...it was so great to see you able to kick back and have fun, Cathe...I just read the great STS news!!

Don't be so quick to give me too much credit for this group, though...sure, I may have had the original idea, and a group is only as good as its members, and I simply cannot say enough good things about our members, I've been lucky enough to have made a couple very special friendships through this group, that means more to me than anyone can realize!!

The greatest people I have ever met, I've met through fitness, this lifestyle has given me so much more than I could've ever expected!

Just remember, Cathe...none of this would have been possible without you, your expertise, and a terrific website that helped us all to meet.

I want everyone to know that the tri staters group is by no means exclusive. Any one who can make it is more than welcome. We are always looking for Catheletes to join us. It's worth the trip if you are ever in the area!!!

And since I am so close to the gym, I have become the official unofficial hostest for overnight guests. Anyone interested in making a class can always PM me for arrangements.
