Cathe - ? about shoes

Hi Cathe...hope you're healing nicely and taking it easy! :)

I've got a question for you...I've read when you work out hard (6-7 times a week) new shoes are a must every 3-4 months...and with the proper inserts it can be stretched to every 7 or 8 months...is this true? I have noticed my feet feeling much better after getting some new shoes recently (my "old" ones were less than a year old though)! I guess staying in shape can be pretty expensive! :)
 
Hi Terry Mia! If you are working out 6 to 7 times a week it is almost a must to change your shoes every 3 to 4 months (unless you use different shoes for all of your activities). I use inserts too but I still don't trust using my shoes more than 6 months. I guess you have to evaluate your shoes and your situation at the 4 month mark and see where you stand.
