Cathe...? about 'round the clock push ups

Cathlete
I can't do a regular push up (at least not to the ground). I guess I just don't have the upper body strength yet. I can, however, do them on my knees with feet in the air. My ? is, is there a way to modify this move while still moving around the clock? I so want to do everything the way you do.

THANKS and GREAT job on the new workouts!!

Modification

Kim, I just did HIS this morning. You can easily go around the clock on your knees with your feet in the air. I recommend that you wear capris or pants though. If you do not have carpet in your workout area, you may need to put a towel or something under your knees too. I am not a fan of push-ups, but this is a fun way to do them! Give it a whirl, and we will be on our toes in no time! :)

Blessings,
Heather B.

RE: Modification

I just double (quadriple) up my yoga mat and put my knees on that. I do 'round the clock push ups on my knees easily that way. It feels better.

Hi Kim! As others have suggested you can try putting a mat under your clothing covered knees and doing them this way, however, you don't want the floor surface to grip your knees. Your knees should be free to pivot around. A nylon covered mat would be a better option than a sticky mat since it will allow you to glide around better. Good Luck and have fun :)
