Cardio Kicks ok for everyday use?

Cathlete
Hello guys and gals,
I'm getting ready to leave (next Thursday) for my Best Friend's Wedding & I am limited to no equipment necessary type workouts while I'm at my parents house. (I'm flying, so I can't take my stuff with me!) But, I thought I could take Cardio Kicks and use it. (I'm going to be gone for 12 days)-does that sound like too much of the same thing?
I don't think I will work out every day (Obviously not the day of the wedding!!!) I did see the vacation workout that Cathe suggested, but I honestly don't know if I can motivate myself to work out - I need CATHE!
Another idea would be to take a step workout and do it without the step? I'm open to suggestions - I just wanted to pick the brains of the educated crowd.

Thanks,

I wouldn't use it everyday because you risk overuse injuries. Do you have a hi-lo tape you can do as well? A step tape minus the step is a great idea but you may not feel as intensely worked out as you do when you use the step or a hi-lo workout. A while ago someone asked Cathe for suggestions on what to do when you are on a long vacation and this is what she said:

Wishing you a lovely time at your best friend's wedding :)

P.S. If you can't take dumbbells with you (I know I can't when I go away in October), you could always use household items - even something like 2x tins of baked beans!

If you're not going to be gone longer than 1 week, why not make this a rest week. If you've been diligently working out preparing for the wedding, then taking a break will not hurt your results. If fact it may rejuvenate you and you will look forward to coming back to your exercise routine.

For me personally, I hate interrupting my workout schedule, however, when I do, I never regret it. I hate having to worry about working out on the road. I never have the comfort level or the convenience of what I need when I'm away from home. Sometimes the efforts I go through to work out on travel are not worth it, so I take a break.

Or, you may consider using the hotel's exercise room, if you're staying at a hotel.

Just a few alternative ideas. Please enjoy the wedding!

Cathy

Thanks, Lisa and Cathy,

I will be gone for about two weeks, and I have a feeling that working out will be my nice retreat back to my real world. I think what I might do is take Cardio Kicks, MIC, and a Pilates tape for relaxation and stress release. I will be staying at my parents, so I can't use the hotel fitness room. Also, I will have my 10 month old daughter with me so I will have to keep an eye on her or have someone to help. I could always go swimming and get in some laps, I guess.
I am mainly concerned with being there for my girl Shannon, she is already stressing! So, my friend muscles are flexed and ready!!

Thanks for the help and support, I get so much encouragement from everyone here. It's nice to hear someone say that it's ok to take a break, too. I will be thinking of that on the days I don't get to work out!

Thanks,
Tricia

I think you're already on vacation now but just wanted to post my experience. I just got back from my parents (for my friend's wedding as well) and I took BootCamp and BodyMax with me. I bought a resistance tube/band with little handles and was able to modify most of the weight training. It certainly wasn't as difficult as actual weights would have been but it helped. I really liked having Bootcamp - I felt I got a good cardio workout as well as a little strength and ab work too. I split up BodyMax because I was limited on time and that worked out pretty well.
