cardio fusion

Is it really that hard and that good of a workout? I haven't done it yet - scheduled for tomorrow. I was planning some extra cardio too but from what I'm reading on here those of you who have already done it seem to think it'll be all I need for a kick butt cardio workout. What takes it to that level?

I did the shortest premix (41 minutes) on Cardio Fusion today for the first time and let me just tell you, I was dripping when finished!! I did Drill Max yesterday and it was the same. I was worn out and all I wanted was WATER!! So, IMO it's the drill max drills that makes Cardio Fusion such a challenge. I do all sorts of cardio....running, elliptical machine, other Cathe workouts, etc. and I don't usually perspire that much, but this was different for me.

I love all of the new DVDs!!:D
Thank you Cathe!! You are my hero!!

I did the as-is version (not a premix) of Cardio Fusion and it was TOUGH!! I was sweatin' buckets and t-i-r-e-d when it was all over. But I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also did it as-is. It's tough!! What makes it so tough is there's no real recovery. The cardio never lets up. The beginning isn't too tough, steady state and all. Then when you've done that for awhile, you do the power circuits from BM2 and THOSE get your HR up. Then you turn right around and do the cardio segments of Drill Max with no recovery. It's constant heart pounding cardio with little recovery. You will definitely be sweating buckets! I definitely consider it the Body Max of cardio :)

Yah - Carol - what you said. I was good through the end of the first power circuit segment from BMax2 - then from that point on OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a FUN killer workout. (I think I called Cathe a few choice names however - LOL)

I did the 41 minute premix this morning, which was comprised of the cardio portion of six (or maybe five - I forget) Drill Max drills. Like another poster said, there is no recovery, which makes this premix especially tough because these drills are very intense! I haven't done the whole thing, but if there's not much more recovery during that workout either, man, that must be super tough! The premix is another gem to add to my short but intense cardio workouts. I'm SO glad she made this DVD.

I *think* I did it as-is. I didn't receive the CF dvd, so I used my dvd/vcr combo player to record the segments into one workout on a vhs tape. Someone posted the breakdown a couple of weeks ago, so I went by her post. If I got it right, it went like this:

BM2 warm up; BM2 bonus cardio; LIC bonus cardio; BM2 power circuit cardios; DM cardios (drills 1-6); DM cool down & stretch.

This took 71 minutes, and was a hoot and a holler. I had so much fun with the DM drills especially. Yup, I was sweating buckets, but there was so much variety to the workout that the time flew by, and didn't seem to notice how hard I was working. I haven't done DM as-produced yet, so I can't way whether DM or CF has the harder cardio. I suspect the DM cardio drills will feel very different when all those functional weight moves are inserted between them. I loved the stability ball drill, but may feel very differently if my upper body is already toasted from dive bomber pushups and all the rest of it!!

Cheers,
Sandra

This workout is a total butt-kicker! I wish I knew how many calories I burned, cuz I'm sure it was a ton. I was completely drenched by the end (sorry, too much info maybe).

What a killer workout!!! I was drenched. I felt like saying, "I'm melting,,, melting" What a kick butt workout.........}(

Cardio Fusion kicked my A** tonight.

It is very well put together -- it really flows well.

I'll tell you, by the time I reached the Drills from "Drill Max", I thought I could not make it.

But I did -- and by the end where Cathe does those Squat Thrusts, tuck jump and jump over the step, my body just gave out on me.

I literally limped through that portion like a wuss!

It makes IMAX extreme like a play in the park.

So I think you will love the intensity!

And I was sweating like crazy.

It is one of the hardest workouts Cathe has put together.

I thought I would literally melt because like one person said, the cardio never lets up. There is almost no recovery.

And the time flies!

I did the workout this morning and its the best ;-) ;-) Be prepared drip buckets of sweat and the music rocks x( x(
