Cardio Fusion or Max DVDs separately

I am looking for some really tough cardio workouts. I love Cathe and am slowly collecting her stuff. I have 4DS and BM2. I like 4 DS but I prefer to separate my lifting days from cardio days. So I have been doing the 4DS weights on 2 days and trying to incorporate cardio premixes on the other days.

I like the looks of cardio fusion because it's all cardio (without all the circuit training) but I think eventually I will want the circuit training and the full workouts. Is it silly to buy cardio fusion when I already have BM2? Should I just buy LIC and DM? Would it be really hard to "create" the cardio fusion with those three dvds by just doing the cardio premixes myself?

I'm really trying to prepare myself for STS and having decent cardio workouts when that comes around so I don't really want to buy a bunch of weights focused workouts right now.

Am I making sense? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

thanks,
angie

Angie, I know that we discussed this somewhat on the other thread, but I wanted to reply here too.

First of all, let me say that I own all four of the "unnamed series" dvds, but do NOT own Cardio Fusion.

I, too, do not like to mix my cardio and weights. That being said, I believe my favorite cardio comes from some of Cathe's circuit dvds. They all have a "cardio only" premix, or you can do the circuit workouts sometimes if you want to change things up a bit.

LIC is some of the most fun choreogrpahy, IMHO, and there is a 48 min cardio premix. Great abs section as well. Also, I really enjoy the upper body weight work on LIC.

Drill Max is very different, but super fun. There are a few cardio only premixes, ranging from 40-60 mins I believe. I also really love the lower body weight work on this one.

Now that I have typed all of this, I am not totally sure that I answered your question... Oh well, buy them all!!!

I have Cardio Fusion and enjoy it, but I think it would be reasonable to just buy LIC and DM at this point. They all have cardio-only premixes, and you could pop one in after another if you really wanted to punish yourself. :D You might even welcome the 1 or 2 minute break between DVDs!

i got cardio fusion in a trade and i would have been better off just buying body max 2. i already had drill max and cardio fusion has all the drill max combos. it also has the bonus cardio of BM2(all the combos ran through without breakdowns) as well as the cardio only segments fromBM2 power circuits but only one 11 min combo from LIC(i believe this is also the bonus segment from LIC). while i am enjoying cardio fusion i just think i would have gotten better use out of buying the workouts as a whole with the premixes i could have made my own cardio fusion.

Thanks for the replies. I was leaning toward buying LIC and DM so I think that's what I'm going to do!

Gearing up for my punishment... :)

I think that will be a good decision... I once did cardio fusion using my bm2, dm and lic dvds... it requires chanching dvds... but it was fun for one time as I dont own cardio fusion...

Hi Angie,

I have Cardio Fusion also and don't use it to often. It is fun but I would go for DM or LIC over CF. Each dvd has about 6 premixes so you would have tons of different workouts. And both contain a cardio only option.

Good luck.
