I have to agree with others. EBE2 are some of the hardest lower body workouts I have ever done. And they are no fun! But they definitely do the job. I prefer Cathe, too, Nathalie, and she does have her own brand of brutal lower body workouts (I did my Butts & Guts blender mix this morning and my glutes and hammies are still screaming), but it's not the same kind of torture Ingrid delivers. (Plus Cathe has that fun-factor that I just don't find in most other trainers). In fact, I keep telling myself I need to return to EBE2 because they are such excellent workouts but, mentally, I just want to do Cathe workouts right now (and MetaShred Extreme--another brand of leg torture). And Ingrid's counting (and excessive enthusiasm) irritated me, too.
Jeanmarie--I second a lot of what has been mentioned above. Amy Bento's Slo-Mo is excellent. MetaShred Extreme--excellent. EBE2--excellent. Hammer & Chisel--excellent, especially Autumn's workouts. Plus everyone Stacey mentioned--she listed a lot of intense metabolic workouts. Toby Massenburg. And they are all advanced. So if you can do Cathe's workouts, you will be challenged by these. If you are looking for a fun factor combined with an challenging workout, similar to what Cathe gives you--I would try MetaShred Extreme (B.J Gaddour), Toby Massenburg and anything Kelly Coffey-Meyer.
