can you do something else for this exercise?

I'm watching clips for 4ds and on the drill #6 they have you running back/forth with weights. I don't have that much space in my room is there something else I could do instead that is similar? just wondering. does anyone modify this workout for space reasons?
 
Try running in place as fast as you can. When Cathe reaches the end where she reaches to grab a weight, do the same (having a weight is optional). You still won't get the full effect as part of the exercise is the control to stop forward movement and then quickly change direction.

Jess... Cathe has said in many of her DVDs that if you cant go wide (space issues) go higher! LOL Now theres a surprise!!! ;)
If you feel inclined you can go high like a bird taking flight!:eek:
 
I didnt do this 4DS Bootcamp workout for a year because of thinking there would be space issues. I FINALLY tried it 2 weeks ago and have done it every week since. I love it - it goes SO fast and a great workout.

I do not have the same space either - so my suicide run is like 3 steps - but it still works you - you just do more back and forth than she does. You wont have a problem with it at all.
 
Try using your space diagonally.
And you don't have to use as many weights as Cathe does. Two would be fine.
Or go faster, shorter, and instead of picking up weights, just touch down, or squat down. You'll get the intensity from the speed or deep ROM rather than the distance.
