Can the Original Club Step be used on an incline?? r/o

for incline presses? or...will that not work too well?

I'm trying to decide on whether to buy the Original Club Step (I've been using the smaller Studio Step), or to rather spend double the $$$$ on that Super Step Bench System, that Cathe uses in the Slow & Heavy series.

What would be the best to do? I'm only concerned about the INCLINE position ability of the regular Club Step.

thanks!

In fact, you can make a 1-riser, 2-riser or 3-riser incline with it (more versatile than the super step, IMO).

How many extra risers did you all buy for the original club step? The standard 2/2 won't work for tricep dips...

Do I need 2 more "sets" of risers?

I accumulated risers over the years. Now, I have enough to make the step 18" high (great for leaning on with a knee and hand on for 1-arm rows). But that's just me! I think having enough risers to make it be 10" or 12" (3 or 4 risers per side, for a total of 6 or 8) is good, so you could also use it as a platform for step-ups if you don't have the high step topper. (That's what I did, and why I got my first extra risers).

.

thanks kathryn!

one more question, please:
Is fwonline.com the most economical place to order the risers? I don't know of any other place.

thanks again!

I'm not sure if there are any cheaper places, but FWonline is good. You could try doing a web search for "Original Step risers" or even" original step riser sale" and see what comes up.

I did. Only fwonline and The Step's site, came up in my search. :)

Thanks! I guess I better order 2 sets of risers asap! lol

Or buy a High Step, too!!

I priced risers. Four of them would be $50. Then I went to Dick's. The High Step with 4 risers was $49.99 with no shipping. So I basically got the High Step topper for free :)

Now I have 8 risers total.

That sounds like a really good deal. I don't remember exactly what I paid for mine but it was more than thatx(

oh! thanks for that info! I will definitely check into the High Step then! Great deal!

My original club step is due to arrive tom'rw! whoopee!!!! finally, I can do bench work w/o having to put both studio steps together. :+
