All you do is click on create calender and then enter username -password and they will send you an email with a passcode to get you started!Check it out!Your friend in fitness~~Francine

Hi Francine,

Hey Wendy I sent you an email walking you through it--but I know if you clicked on my post I sent you to my calender by mistake--I went back an edited the exact website---sorry for the mixup! I'm such a goof! Your friend in fitness~~Francine

Hi Francine,
Thanks for the information. :) I had already figured out that you sent me your page, so I had clicked on the home page and was going from there. I think I have now filled in the information 3 times, and still haven't received an email with a passcode. But, I just emailed Liz, and hopefully that will take care of it...
Thanks again!
PS I've erased the emails you sent me, and have no record of your passcode ;-)

Fitness video fanatics

The site has been improved!I just received an email from Keith and tried it and it is much easier to use now!
Hello Francine

Thanks for participating in the beta test at
http://FitnessVideoFanatics.com !

Many of you offered great suggestions that we have now incorporated
into the calendar. Some of you had problems that have now been fixed.

The changes are quite substantial. If you want to keep and use the
calendar you have created, that's no problem, it should continue to
function as is. If you want to create a new calendar, or over-write the
one you created, you will upgrade to some new features in three
different areas.

First of all, we streamlined the signup routine. We were emailing a
passcode so we could guarantee that the email account was yours
if you ever forgot your password and needed a new one sent to you.
We have completely dropped the emailing of the passcode. We now
ask for your email address and password and then record the two
of them. Since no check is now made on the email address if
someone mis-types their address and then forgets their password
they will have simply lost the ability to edit their calendar. We have
already had someone try unsuccessfully to get the password for
the SuziQ demo calendar.

Now, on to the goodies. Originally the program asked for you to
select the body parts you wanted to work each day and the program
then indexed the videos in your collection for those body parts and
automatically generated a calendar. That method is still available for
creating a calendar, editing a week, or adding new weeks. But we've
also added two new methods.

The first method allows you to create a one week schedule based on
names of videos. That weekly schedule is then repeated for the
number of weeks that you want.

The second method allows you to assign a video by name to any day
in the weeks you want to create. If you have a multi-week rotation
that developed or gotten from someone else, you can put it on your
calendar with this method.

Some of you also asked for a feature that would allow you to change
just one day, or add a second video to some days. We now have that
feature. The date in each day's square (Sep 2) is now a link, click
on that date and a window opens up displaying a list of all the videos
in your collection. You can select one or more videos to write to that
day.

You will also find a new button at the bottom of the calendar,
"Publish To Favorites". This button is currently not functioning. We
plan to activate it in about a week. That feature should be quite
popular for some of you. It will allow you to place your personal
calendar in our Favorite Rotations area so others can find it. If you
have a favorite rotation that you've developed you can then share it
with others. Don't worry, when your personal calendar gets copied
to Favorite Rotations your user-name, weight, measurements, BMI,
and W/H Ratio will get removed from the calendar ;-) In fact, all of
the buttons on the personal calendar will be replaced with only one
button that will allow others to use your favorite rotation as a
template for creating their own personal calendar. We think this
feature will be a very useful and popular way for experience to
be share among all of us Fitness Video Fanatics!

If you have any problems please email me at
[email protected]

If you have suggestions or comments send them to Liz at
[email protected]
She'd love to hear from you

Thank you for your patience and all of the great suggestions!

RE: Fitness video fanatics

Hi Francine and everyone else!

I wanted to thank all of you for being so patient and helpful. I was gone over the holiday weekend and Keith was holding down the fort. When I got back I couldn't believe all the help that was contributed - mostly from this forum. We really appreciate it.

Keith and I have been developing websites for years, but we haven't had this much fun for a long time! You're a great bunch!

Thanks again,
Liz

LAST EDITED ON Sep-04-02 AT 02:01PM (Est)[p]I had no problem w/ the site. It was very informational. Can't wait to start the rotations I printed out. And also to read the success stories.

P.S. Cathe mentions in the no-step-needed advanced rotation to do "steady state treadmill", what was she talking about?

Thanks in advance
