Errnads this AM and an engagement party this afternoon. I've already bombed this morning.... My eggs somehow got shells ALL THRU THEM (didnt notice when cracked em in:confused:) so I ate pancakes w/ the fam and an apple. Sigh.....

Did some CS last night and MUST do somethign sweaty tday.
 
Good Morning Girls !

I am eating a late breakfast out on the sip , while it rains HARD !!! We missed the clear early morning skies, because DH slept in...so no walk this morning. Hopefully it'll clear out later & we can make it up !!

Sorry about your breakfast Kate (tho I ADORE pancakes and would be thrilled if that "accident" happened to me *wink*)
I'm having a morning like that tho too. I made my own "coffee treat" (hate plain coffee, so have to jazz it up somehow, lots of flavorings) ......somehow I completely goofed it up and the more I tried to "save" it , the worse it was. So I threw it out and made tea, only to have the tea bag bust !:confused::(
I give up !
I did make breakfast sandwiches, eggs, spinach, skinny cow cheese and salsa in WW mini pita pockets. THEY were good !
So I'm heading to the shower and then off to Walmart for a few things......
Today we had a few plans , but they were all outdoor and it looks like we better re-think the day!!
What's everyone else up to ??
 
Becky, Sorry for your bfast snafu too! No, my taste buds were NOT disappointed with my breakfast but my belly is.:( Ah well.... Breakfast on the porch sounds wonderful! I want so badly to do our addition but it's just not in the cards right now. Boo. Hope you have a good productive day with some FUN thrown in there too!

Did some errands, clean lunch, gotta get Ju down for a nap! Hoping to Maaaaaybe get an errand done before I have to get ready for a party. I have no clue what's being served at the party - Ill do the best I can.
 
Hi Everyone!

I just had a big list of todos so I have been going all day. Back home briefly and then to our inlaws for dinner. Workout was 3.5 mile run (wanted to do 4 but I got a cramp - should have known better I was exhausted when I went out), Insanity Core Cardio and PLB down standing only. My legs are on fire and I hate sitting down because I am afraid I won't get up!

Becky & Kate, sorry about your rough mornings. Hope the rest of the day is going better.
 
Kate- SORRY ! You said you'd chat and by then we were gone !
We went out in the pouring rain and spent the day looking at 5th wheel campers. Even for non-camper, these things are Ah-MAZING!
Fireplaces, some have 2 bathrooms, king sized beds, central vac's...
Then went to Chipotle for late lunch/early dinner. Yum!
Now am ready to relax for a bit.
Maybe watch a movie tonight.

DOWN 2MORE LBS!! yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee HAW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so i am almost at 10 lbs off since i started the challenge 5 weeks ago.

I keep wondering what has changed to make it finally come off the last few weeks, i think the carb cutting i have done (not completely but def less) and adding in the spin classes, the cal burn is so high for me compared to other cardio and so gentle on my knee, too. anyhoo, i'll take it how ever it comes =)

went to flow yoga this morning. i have wicked doms in my shoulders from 2 combat classes yday and yoga was HARD with sore shoulders!

b - banana choc prot smoothie
l - quinoa salad
d - indian rice, chicken, veggies

i have a wedding next weekend and have to find something to wear, NOT a fun task =( i truly love to shop but not at this size at all. even knowing that i have lost, it is still frustrating and a serious downer for me. i wish the wedding was another month away so i could work on another 10 lbs. ok, complaining done!

BEcky, Those campers get crazy! We always rent one (NOT DELUXE!) for a long weekend at Labor Day. I couldnt do more than taht in one.....I'm a hotel kinda girl!;) "Roughing it" is a hotel without a pool!:D Sounds like you guys had a great day!

Wendy, I am so happy for you and your weight loss! You are rockin' your WOs and it shows! You must be so proud of yourself. Pass somma that motivation over here. I seriously suck lately.
I have a wedding next month I need to find a dress for too. A very fancy Friday night summer wedding. I have TONS of dresses & skirts but nothing appropriate for this. I'm going to shop for it when I'm in Chicago on Friday. Hop I find somehting! I found a ton online (Piperlime, Boden, JCrew) that I really like bt I want to try them on.

Church & potluck today then Mike has to go pick up a truck or something. No WO yday:( - got too busy. NEED to find Wendy's motivation and start kicking my butt again. This is NOT the time of yr to slack on my WOs!!!:mad: or my eats. I might have to step on the scale to scare me into submission!:p
 
Good Morning Girls !

It's smoking hot already this morning......well, I should say very warm and sticky and going up to low 90's.

I woke up ready to walk, but ugh my stomach isn't happy. I don't know if it's just something I ate yesterday or what but right now I guess I better not chance it.....need to stay close to home, if you know what I mean. blah. Later it will be too hot to walk so I'm hoping I can get out there before it gets too late....

Kate, we did camp when the kids were all home, but we didn't exactly ROUGH it either. Went to camping family resorts, ONLY with pools and lots of stuff for kids to do. We think we'd like to get a really nice, bigger camper with slides and do some traveling soon. We'll see if we can work it all out.

Work out today will be a sweaty outdoor walk if I can do it ! bbl :)

Kate sorry about the eggs but hey pancakes are good. How was the party?

Becky now I've done that with the coffee:). Once I tried to mix two different flavored coffees together. YUCK. Now that's the type of camper that I need...one with everything. I hope your belly feels better.

I had signed up for a class with my workout friends. Well guess who did not show up? She is sooo fired! Anyway I went to the class and the trainer had us fill out a question form. Then he went over all the cardio machines and gave us good pointers. He then wrote out our rotations. He told me that if I'm trying to lose fat then I should do cardio last, not first. Which is the same thing Cathe said. He wants me to do upper body machines 2 times per week and also lower body twice per week. 2 sets 15 reps.He also wants cardio 5 days per week plus 1 day of stretch or yoga.

I really already knew all of this but I wanted their excel printout which list all of the machines at the gym with grids for 3 months. Also the price was right...free.
I'm going to sign up for the upper body class because I'm not sure how to do the pull up machine.

Also he said that he want us to start a diet jounal. I though to myself...again.
I really should buy Reno Tusco clean eats jounal.

After the gym stuff I had to shop for the 4th of July BBQ and stuff for our vacation to NYC. We are planning to visit family in Manhattan, Queens and even Yonkers, which should be interesting becausee I never been Yonkers before. The best part is that I'm only staying a few days and leaving one of my kids with her family:cool:

But their will bring her back to NC on the 4th of July.

Becky I was trying to skip out on my workout today:eek: but you have motivated me to get off my butt. So after church I'll drink some coffee and hit the gym or do a sweaty workout at home.
 
Hi Everyone!

Dinner at the IL's was good but it was like no one wanted to be there. We had a little snafu because a storm came while FIL was cooking dinner on the grill, but it was good anyway. We had ribs (yuck!) and salad. No workout today but I will probably try to stretch later. I felt like my body was screaming for a day off so I am taking it.

Robin, I did not know I should do weights before cardio if I want to lose fat. I will try to change it up this week.
Becky, sorry your stomach is upset. I woke up with an upset stomach but it is better now. Hope you had a good walk.
Kate, I am with you about camping - I rode in an RV to Indiana once but we stayed in a hotel once we got there. Sending you some motivation vibes - hope you get that workout in.
Wendy - ^5 on the weight loss. ikwym about buying a dress when you are not at your goal weight. Hopefully you will find one on sale.

Eats have been okay today (little too carby but good carbs).
 
Hi Guys! LIC cardio (all 4) done! Feels good to be sweaty! If I can just get a good week in me I know I'll get my mojo back.

Becky, If I had my own monster camper I think I could get into RVing. But I would need one that costs as much as my house!;):p:D

Church and workout done and dinner made. I really pushed myself to keep my HR on my target, even though I didn't think that I could keep it that high and was a sweating like a pig. Luv it.
