buying tower in Canada

I was not able to find anything comparable in Canada to the tower.
Do you live near the U.S. border?
I had the tower shipped to a service near the border that will accept shipments for you. It is a one-hour drive for us to the border, so it was a really easy way to get the tower without paying any shipping fees (shipping was free on amazon.com). We just explained to the border guard that we couldn't buy this equipment in Canada, and so we weren't charged any duty.
I hope you can find someway of getting yourself a tower because its a great piece of equipment to have.

I bought the tower last month - paid $95 shipping to get it to Alberta. I had looked around for something comparable that I could buy locally but anything similar was $300 plus. So I came to the conclusion that I would just look at it as if the shipping was part of the overall price. I did look at what it would cost to ship within the US as my dad has a residence in AZ but shipping to there was still $60 plus dollars so still not cheap. I am really glad that I got it as it has the bar for chin ups and pull ups etc however if you don't care about that you can buy a bench with stand and weights for about $100.
