I'm one of the "burn the fat" people, so I understood right away, but it's really too funny.
I've been eating 2/3 cup oatmeal every morning with some cinnamon, half of a plain, baked chicken breast and half a sweet potatoe for two meals, and a salad (with lots of raw veggies and fish for dinner EVERY SINGLE DAY for three weeks now.
I cannot get 6 meals in with work. I just can't do it.
I realize this does not help you with meal ideas, but this is what I've been doing. I'm kind of following the 1400 calorie "pre-contest" diet. I'm not going to be in any contests anytime soon, however...haha. I just wanted to see if I could lean out some more.
And I don't lift extremely heavy weights and I love Circuit work. I don't believe you have to necessarily do a lot of heavy lifting. I guess it depends on your goals. I'm pretty much the same as you regarding the cardio.
Boring, right? haha
