Burn Sets in 90 Rotation

Any idea why Burn Sets Bi's & Tri's is featured 7 times in the 90 rotation but Burn Sets Chest, Back & Shoulders is only featured 5 times? Why is regular Chest, Back & Shoulders done more often than the Burn Sets version? And why is Burn Sets Bi's & Tri's done more often than the regular version of Bi's & Tri's?

I really like them both--but Burn Sets Chest, Back & Shoulders gave me some serious DOMS, and the other Chest, Back & Shoulders didn't. Even though I love them both, Burn Sets seems more effective for me. Wondering if I should swap them out so I do the Burn Sets version more frequently. But I wanted to know if there was a specific reason for the way they featured in the rotation.

XTrain Undulating Workout Program

XTrain is an undulating workout program. In an undulating workout program you just mix things up. There are certain rules that we followed, but we could have just as easily had more 16 rep workouts than 10 rep workouts and that would of been fine too. If you want things perfectly balanced then you do a linear workout program like STS. XTrain is about mixing things up and randomness is more important than being symmetric.

We could have also easily written 100's of different rotations for the XTrain workout program. That's the beauty of undulating workouts and how the workouts are designed to be interchanged in the XTrain Program. If you want to substitute a workout by all means go ahead. That's why we included over 140 premix workouts in XTrain. Don"t feel you're locked into what is on the written schedule in the book.
