Hi ladies! For those of you who have Paul Katami's Burn and Build, what kettlebell weight do you use? I just ordered the DVD and am new to kettlebell training so any advice would be appreciated!
I just did this w/o for the first time last week. I was conservative and used a 5lbs KB and it was TOUGH. 30min in and I was sweatin' all over the place . I felt that I could have went a little heavier (10lbs) with some of the moves though. Because KB's are quite costly, I would suggest you start with a 10lbs, depending on your fitness level. Now, if you can swing it (no pun intended ), you might want to invest in a 15lbs too as you get accustomed to KB's and continue to get stronger. TBH, I don't think you would need more weight than that for this particular w/o. IT'S SOOOO GOOD .
This is the one workout where I get use out of my 10 lb kettlebell! There is one section where he does a basic swing and I'll often grab my 25 lb bell just for that one part. Otherwise, 10 lbs is just right for me with this one since it's so cardio and high rep focused.
