Bun and Thigh Rocker- Pregnant

I know a lot of you gals like the Bun and Thigh Rocker. I am thinking of getting one to support my back in doing lots of lighter squats while I am pregant to help with delivery and recovery. I am in good shape but I can't see myself doing barbell squats after another month.

I would appreciate any thoughts and insights into this and any recomendations. Do you think I will have enough room with my belly to squat? Is this a good piece of equipment for a pregnant gal?
 
Is this your first? I got progressively larger in the belly dept. By #3, we thought he was twins! Your center of gravity will shift so you might want to go a bit shallow but I don't see why you can't if you feel comfortable. The exta baby weight will provide added resistance! I think it sounds like a winner but I have never tried one. Listen to your body and I sure baby will weigh in with an opinion too. If it feels secure, do it!

Hi there cj5, I just wondered how pregnant you are? EVERY pregnancy and person is different, but I feel perfectly great doing squats at present. You might be surprised when you are another month along. As for BTR, I do not have one so I don't know whether there is anything that would hit belly level to restrict the movement, many people out there have them and I'm sure someone could respond.

I've been currently doing almost the same weights while 9 months pregnant that I was before I was pregnant, but I get under the bar from the back of the weight bench so I don't have to lift it over my head. I WOULD have a problem lifting heavy weight over my head and wouldn't advise this. (again this is just my experience) I personally wouldn't go any higher than 35lb if I'm lifting it from the floor, but I am currently squating a 60lb barbell (slow and heavy only!) from the weight bench and I'm 5 days overdue right now, see how you feel and ALWAYS listen to your body.
