Buff Badgers Week of June 27th

Susan----Your pics look amazing! You have done a great job staying focused. You are so right about cleaning eating being the key to great abs!

Karen--sorry that your ribs are not better. I know how much you love your bike riding so that is not making it easy on you.

Sue----early bird to get that workout in...WTG.

Today was Back and Biceps. I felt well rested and my body was strong today. Last week, I was dragging during biceps but not today. I felt pretty good during the entire workout.

Laurie---I laughed when you said your daughter would likely be coming home to visit her friends. :D

Have a great weekend ladies. I hope to get in some cleaning, watch some movies and start on my presentation that is due on Thursday.

HI! I´m back!! I was in Cincy for a week reading/grading AP tests and then in MN for another 5 days for a class I took. Summer finally has started for me! I was able to exercise a little during those 2 weeks...some running and a little swimming. This week I got out BC...wow, it has been a while since I did that one, and LBB...love it but it is a killer :). got some inline skating in and this a.m. got up early for a 5.5 mi run...before it got TOO hot

Laurie, just did some CTX, too, those are good workouts. How do you like Ilaria´s body strike? I have often been tempted to get that. And KCM plyo? Didn´t know she had one...yes, looking for some enabling ;)

Sue, hope DD´s joints (!) are better. Yes, icing is good, and it is even better when they still listen to you! Sounds like you are enjoying S90. I know what you mean about longer/shorter workouts. There was a question on some forum about Cathe´s new ones and SNM answered that w/os under an hour seem to be the driving force right now. And getting up at 4:15...you go!

Sam, that was a thorough reveiw of slim series...thanks! and don´t worry too much about vacation undoing things...enjoy yourself!

Karen, yes I´m still running, but have gotten out my skates a few times, too. My shoulder didn´t like the swimming too much, but I think I´ll still get in the pool...I miss it! You are a machine...to do all that exercise with pleurisy??? (I, too searched webmd;) ) Hope it clears up soon! BTW, great pics of the bike rides! So nice to have DD to help bake! I miss that! I made a rhubarb-strawb crisp the other day mmmm

Heartymax, are you doing STS? Where are your kids going? And what is your presentation about? Haven´t done Cathe´s intensity in a while.

Susan, 2 inches off your waist !! Great! Have a fun time camping! Not sure of our plans yet for the fourth:eek: And congrats on the new job! That is really exciting. when do you start? and WOW on those pics! Nice job!

Have a great weekend everyone and a super 4th!

Morning Ladies,

I have not worked out yesterday or today. I have to go to an Endodontist today to have a root canal done on another tooth. This one is very painful when I'm trying to do anything physical. Yesterday even walking was making the pain intense. Even with all that we went out and bought a used Hyundai Santa Fe! It is a 2008, and I'm still driving a black vehicle! :D Drove it to work today, and really love it. My mini van had the check engine light blinking on and off, so we wanted to be proactive. DH didn't want the van breaking down on me.

Sue, Your DS sounds like my nephew, he was tall like that when he was a Freshman. He is now 6'5". ;) LOL I hope that is what it means when I sweat so much! :D That workout is longer, but taken at a much better pace. ;)

Karen, DD18 is taking two classes that are required for her to be in the students with disabilities program. She will be taught how to take notes, how to deal with professors, things like that. This will help her get familiar with the campus before she starts school in Sept. She also will be working out with her new track coach during the four weeks. ;) Dang on those ribs, hope they start feeling better soon.

Susan, I will go check out your pics when I get done posting, from the sound of it they are great. You have been doing a great job! Enjoy your weekend.

heartymax, You have a great weekend also, enjoy some of the time even though you have homework to do. :D

Lala, Glad to see you back with us. Great that you managed to get in exercise, it is very hard to do when you are not at home. The Bodystrike workout is all lower body, so you don't do any punching. She just tortures you with squats and kicks. It does the take it from the top, but I really don't mind it. KCM Cardio Blast has two all cardio workouts, one she incorporates the step, and of course the other is plyo. She will do an exercise for a certain amount of time, then rest, then do the same exercise. She only does the exercise twice, and then moves onto another one. Not super intense, but it all depends on how much effort you put into it.

Have a great day!
Laurie
