Morning Ladies,

Had a very busy weekend, but I got done making the cookies. Still need to decorate the gingerbread men and of course the sugar cookies. :D

Saturday my workouts where Leaner Legs & Abs, 4DS Kickbox / CTX Kickbox cardio only. Sunday was a rest day because I spent most of the day doing some shopping.

This morning was Insanity Cardio Core & Balance.

I only have two day of work this week, so need to get back to work. :(

Laurie----I love gingerbread cookies! Sounds like you had a busy weekend with baking and shoppiing.

I worked out on Saturday. I did an upperbody weight DVD (can't remember which one---LOL!) I got on the treadmill to do cardio and it stopped working after 15 minutes. I was so upset. The belt just stopped turning. The motor seems to be working just fine. The treadmill is 8 years old and I hoping it can be fixed. I did Hiit 40/20 followed PUB down only. I didn't have a lot of energy this morning so I was truly draggind during the cardio workout.

Hi there! My weekend was busy but I got a lot done! Saturday was Christmas program practice for most of the morning. It was also DS's 11th Birthday. I did chores and we took him out for dinner. He was very excited that we bought him a "real" Yamaha acoustic guitar. He thinks he's gonna be a rock star!:) My exercise was walking Ruby for an hour.

Sunday was crazy. We were at church until noon. Then the in-laws came over to deliver birthday gifts, then we had to go shopping for gift exchange presents, then go to my sister's to get their other b/day gifts. When I got home I had to do all my Christmas cards... Can ya see where this is going? No, I did not workout on Sunday!:confused:

Today I woke up at 4:30 and did Intensity (step,HiiT Hi,Bootcamp). I plan to wake up every day this week at 4:30 to get my workouts in. My nights are pretty busy this week! Tonight is basketball! Tomorrow is my DD's birthday! :eek:

Hi! Had a good weekend...everyone was home...DD19 from Boston, DS from VA and DD22 from Green Bay. Sat I did STS full body, Sun a 2.5 mi run...much slower than I had hoped. :( but I did it! This a.m. was High Reps.

Susan, Sounds like DS had a great bday! Good luck with the a.m. workouts...that is the only way I can fit them in. Of course the trick is to get to bed early!

Laurie, I did some of my baking, but have most of it ahead of me :confused: Only two days of work! Lucky you!!

Heartymax, hope you can get the treadmill fixed...they are so expensive :(

Hello! Woke up early...to shovel!:mad: Heavy, wet, messy snow! Then the plow came by about 3 times while I was out there. My back was a little sore when I got done. After work I will be doing High Reps. If I hustle, I will have time!

Lala, that's great that the kids are home! Make them do some baking!:p

Today my DD is 14! Yikes!:eek: She's a handful but I wouldn't trade her for anything....

Morning Ladies,

This morning was CCC, figured i could use the extra cardio with all the eating that is sure to happen over Christmas. ;)

heartymax, My treadmill did the exact same thing. :confused: We still have not gotten it fixed, but that will be something that gets done at the beginning of the year. The youngest dd wants to use it to prep for track. She doesn't like running in the snow. :eek:

Susan, Your Sunday sounds a like like mine, except for the staying at church for that long. :D Happy Birthday to your dd and ds. The girls birthdays are about 10 days apart, it really is very nice sometimes. ;) Sorry to hear that you got all that snow, I think we got 2-3 inches by us.

Lala, So nice to have your family home. :) I'm ready to leave work right now, but I guess I better do some work. :eek:

My only workout since Friday was the shoveling I did this morning. Just too much to do. Glad you guys are getting workouts in. Back to work. Lots to do before year-end.
 
Didn't workout today because I didn't feel that well. I was dragging so much on Monday morning during the workout until I decided not to even bother this morning. I am disappointed because we will be out of town all next week and I really wanted to get in some good workouts this week.

Sounds like everyone is pretty busy!

Susan, Happy Birthday to DD14! We didn´t get any of the snow that was predicted, maybe 3"...DH used the snow thrower, so no shoveling for me today, anyway! Good thing since I´ve been working late.

Sue, Hope you get everything done! Workouts will come!

Laurie, You´re done with work for the week now, right! Happy times!

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Laurie-----hubby plans to see if he can fix or have the treadmill fixed after the holidays. The great thing is----he has started back using again just recently so I know getting it fixed is important to him too;) I can't see buying a new one right now, so I am thankful that I have Cathe workouts:)

Sue---shoveling snow is definitely a workout!

Lala---I think resting yesterday was definitely what I needed.

I just finished the first step portion of Body Blast 2 for a 40 minute workout and kept it pretty low impact. I have a lot of packing to do so we can be ready to travel to see our family for the holidays.

I do plan to check in tomorrow but I will be leaving late tomorrow night and be gone all next week. I am planning to take travel fit with me to at least be able to do something a few days while I am away. I don' t know if this plan will work. If not, I can deserve a week off.;)
 
Howdy! Today's workout was to be a 45mn steady state run. However, I was not about to run on our sloppy, icy roads so I did the elliptical for 45mn instead! Went 5.5 miles using the "sports training" program. I was able to squeeze in High Reps yesterday. My shoulders and biceps are hurting today!:eek:

Heartymax, glad to hear you are feeling a bit better. I really hope you enjoy your time away with family. We'll miss you!:)

Sue, no worries about not "exercising". If I wasn't waking up so early I wouldn't be working out this week either! By 7pm I am wanting to go to bed!

Lala, we ended up with about 5-6 inches. I was shoveling again this morning after taking kids to school. Now it's really the heavy wet stuff!:( Thanks goodness Cathe keeps me strong!:D

Heartymax - Good news that DH is using the treadmill. Wish I could get my DH to exercise more. It would help with his snoring if he got rid of his belly. He only has about 10 extra pounds at most but it's the dangerous kind right around his middle. Have fun next week while you're gone!

Susan - Your energy amazes me! Are you sure you weren't a Marine? ("We get more done in a day than most people do by 6 a.m.") No wonder you want to go to bed at 7! ;)

Laurie - Did you enjoy sleeping in this morning or did you get up early to workout? Knowing you I'm guessing you worked out. ;)

Lala - Is it the last day of school for you? I'll bet you're excited.

Hi, Karen! Hope all is well with you.

FINALLY got a decent workout in this morning for the first time in almost a week. Did BFBM with Jillian. Tomorrow I'll be doing STS Total Body. Today is the last full day of work for 2010. Tomorrow we have our holiday party in the afternoon so we only work in the morning. Then I'm off until January 4. :D Well, mostly off. Still on call and have to make at least 1 trip to the office but hopefully that's it.
 
Hi! Today was LBB...really like that workout...probably because it doesn´t have a ton of step-ups. Did the standing premix...forgot to set my alarm :p

Sue, I work a half day tomorrow and then WOOHOO! The kids have been crazy this week. I really need this break! Good job on getting that workout in...it can be so hard.

Susan, you are a machine! I plan to run tomorrow. I bought some things to put on the bottom of my shoes to grip the snow and ice. Used them once...didn´t fall, so I guess they work!

Heartymax, Oh yea, you deserve a week off...it´s so nice to be with family! I used the travel fit a couple of times...not intense, but it keeps you moving. Have a great holiday!

Lala, I too have those shoe grips for the ice/snow. Yesterday it was just too yucky for me to attempt! I need a newer pair though as mine are about 3 years old and wearing down.... Enjoy your time with the family!

Sue, glad you were able to get in a workout. It helps just to relieve some of the stress from the season!:) Maybe I was a Marine in a past life...;)

Heartymax, good idea to take Travel Fit along. When we go away I just throw my bands in the bag, do what I can and walk as much as I can. Have fun and have a safe trip!

After today I am off until Jan. 3rd. Looking forward to the break- I need to get this house in order!:eek: My workout tomorrow (in case I fail to check in) is MMA Kickbox. Christmas day, since we're staying home, I might do High Reps.

Did Paul Katamis Kettlebell Drills yesterday and Paul Katamis 4x4 Bootcamp today. Laurie, almost Insanity tough on the Bootcamp one.

Susan, I have to get motivated to run again. I have been sick for 7 weeks now with one thing or another so I just can't get motivated to do much. I like Cathe's new workouts.

Lala, glad you are getting a break from the kids. Have fun on your run. Have a great time with your family.

Sue, enjoy your vacation. You can always count on Jillian for a good workout. Enjoy your time off.

Laurie, I just did CCC earlier this week too. I would love a t readmill that inclines with a touch of a button. I'll bet you are getting back into running after the new year when your treadmill is fixed.

No workout for me today----busy doing laundry and packing.

Morning Ladies,

No running around for me today, it was a goal to get everything done before today so that we could spend the day at home. I will be off-line until after Tuesday, we are going up to see my parents tomorrow.

Workouts have been:

Wednesday: MMA Boxing with weighted gloves
Thursday: All three segments of Total Body Stretching
Today: Absolute Kickboxing with Kimberly Spreen (Premix #1 without abs)
Tomorrow Morning: Cardio Core & Balance

I just wanted to wish you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!
