Bought the Squat Rack! :)

Well, I pulled out the cc again and bought a squat rack off Amazon -- free shipping and no tax. $189

And it's not just for STS -- I weight lift on my own and I know my lower body can handle quite a bit of weight and my upper body would never be able to get that weight over my head. I had been doing a cheap unsafe substitute (DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!). I have a weight bench with a rack for doing bench presses. I raise the whole bench up with my step and a few risers so the rack is at shoulder level and I can use it as a squat rack. I knew I would end up killing myself someday, so this was a very smart purchase.

I am so excited to really challenge my lower body now -- even before I get my STS system! Ha ha!

Boy I'm jealous!! What that one of the lower priced ones? I really need to get one, I know my lower body could handle more weight too.

It's by Powerline. Sears is offering the same one at the same price, but I'd have shipping and tax (it's not available at my local Sears).

The model is PSS60W... it's not a huge "cage" that you see in the gyms. It's enough for me. It will be a lifesaver!
