Boots No. 7

Saw it on the today show this AM. They are comparing it in a three month trial w/ three other products.

I haven't heard of this particular product, but I do like to get No. 7 products at Target, so I'll have to keep an eye out for it. It makes me homesick for the Boots stores in London--just no really nice drugstores like that around here!

Big brand on my side of the pond. Excellent value for money in the UK. Simple products that get the job done. Own in house brand of national chemist chain of Boots.

Yep, it's good stuff. Good quality, reasonably priced and has excellent reputation. Probably the equivalent of Neutrogena skin care and make up line. In the UK, everyone uses Boots (the Chemist)own products and No. 7 is their top of the line range. Buy with confidence, but not from Ebay. Wiat til it hits your local Target store.

Hi LauraMax I live in Manhattan, Ks. and I bought boots No.7 antiaging foundation I love it. It covers well and lasts all day. When my other skin care products runout I plan on buying the rest. I hope this helps and it should already be in your Target stores.

The reason the protect and perfect serum is selling out (30,000 in stores in one day, restricted to one per customer, etc.) is that about 2 months ago there was a documentary on TV featuring a female scientist who looked at the claims of several cosmetics from a scientific point of view.

She looked at shampoos, anti-ageing creams and some other stuff. It turned out this was the only product of its type that actually had effects that could be measured (skin samples were taken from the arms of several volunteers over a number of months).

Another interesting fact that came out of the programme was what anti-ageing often meant. If a product has an SPF in it then it can be called anti-ageing (as it's protecting your skin from the ageing effects of the sun). Not necessarily what you might be expecting when you shell out a fortune for some of these things. Might as well just use sun cream!

The serum sells for about £16 in the UK so $20 is a bargain!
