Hai,

Last week I did bootcamp and it wasn,t advanced enough.
What did I wrong ,do I have to raise the weights.

wow... i never thought boot camp was any where near as hard at 99% of the posts on here make it out to be.. but i wouldn't classify it as easy either! i agree.. you must be in TERRIFIC shape!

-------------
cute work out clothes are good for AT LEAST an additional 10-15 calories burned!

If you think it's easy, do the everything but abs pre-mix and do the abs last. That seems to keep the heart rate up more.

OH! good idea.. plus working the abs all at once vice breaking them up should make that a more intense workout! i'm gonna try that just to see how it feels/works!!

Aquajock has some monster premixes for people who think her tough workouts are too easy!! Hopefully, she'll see this thread and post something!! :p

Hai,

I do 2 hour a week body pump and 1 hour steps and 1 hour total body
1x(1.5 - 2 hour ) mountain biking (without mountains).and 1 hour
spinning when I don,t mountainbike.
And 1.5 hour on normal bike(to work and shop )
and ofcourse Cathe ( or the firm).

5 years ago I didnt like sport at all.So my life changed a lot ,
whath else do you do besides Cathe?

Now I want to do high step adv.(raising the weights) and 20 min. on the crosstrainer.
I come back later and tell how it went.

>Defitely up the weights until you feel challenged. This is
>one tough workout!

I will up the weights ,maybe I did it to low because ,it was my first
time I did bootcamp ,and didn,t now what to expect.
The next time I do this workout and higher up the weights I will tel
you how it went.

I only did it once, about a year and a half ago. I also thought it was much easier than I would have expected, given the reviews.

However, I was in somewhat better shape then, so I am giving it another 2 or so months before I break it out again....pre-emptive strike at self-annoyance! ;)

During cardio #3, instead of doing two plyos then 2 jacks with claps, do 4 plyos. During cardio #5 add on one terminator before she does the calf pumps, add one terminator after the calf pumps. During cardio #6, do 30 sequential kicks each side, instead of 28. During cardio #7, do 32 airborn jumps (I think Cathe does 26). During cardio #8, start doing the ice breakers with legs and arms from the beginning, not just once Cathe adds the lower body. And go heavier on all the weights. Also, if you have the DVD, do the everything but core premix, then do the all core premix afterwards.

I had to work up to my suggestions. But I'm there. Since she deemed it "easy", I figured she could handle it. Finish with Stretch Max if you have time and/or, a long nap.

Good Morning Anja,

I have been working out since I left school. Sometimes only 3 times/week, sometimes very fanatical 7 days/week.

I run every other day. 6-7K on weekdays and a 10-miler on the weekend. Currently in training to get my longruns op to 20K (12.5-miles). So I don't do much Cathe cardio, except for Imax1-2 and soon 3 to aid my running. I consider them a form of plyometrics training. I also do P90X PlyoX to aid my running. And have an elliptical at home that I use on weekdays when I don't run.
