boosting and treadmill use

Hi Cathe. Do have a a recommendation for lifting the rear without adding bulk? I am currently addicted to my treadmill for cardio so I am looking primarily for suggestions for weights, specific exercises and the like to concentrate and focus upon. I am happy with my weight and overall physique, it just seems like my rear view needs some encouragement or a little perking up these days. Thanks a million and Happy New Year.

Thanks for your response. Yes, I do strength training both upper and lower body. I have a weider version of the bowflex that I can do leg presses etc with for a heavier day and I do free weights for lighter days. I have been using weights for years. I am now 35, 3 kids and it seems things are sagging regardless of what I do. I thought maybe there were some exercises specific to my problem that might be helpful. Thanks. Rachel

not Cathe but step ups are great, high step like in Muscle endurance or PLB has the high step (1 less riser then Muscle endurance) I think the added riser really makes a difference depending on your height of corse add weights either w/barbell or dumbells sure works for me.

Thanks for your note. Before my treadmill I only ran outside. I live in WV, so all of my runs were up hills, down hills, up hills, down hills, you get the picture. I have been enjoying running on the treadmill b/c I can run on flat terrain. Maybe I will incorporate some incline training on the treadmill. I just don't get what is going on with my body. I guess its just a function of age.

I'm not Cathe.

I've said it before and I will say it again -- my butt feels smaller (ie, lifted) after doing the Viper workout from the Terminator DVD! It also feels more lifted after Pyramid Lower Body. I'm also in my 30's and, yes, I'm having a southbound problem too :)

Good luck,
Shonie
