Bonnaroo--has anyone gone??

My SO was going to buy me Bonnaroo tickets for my birthday but could not find out how much they cost as they have yet to annnounce anything on 2008.


Have any Catheites gone? What did you think? What did your ticket cost? I really don't want to him to go overboard! He won't even go with me because he hates to fly!
 
Here's the info...http://www.bonnaroo2007.com/ It says $21.85 for 2008. (edited to say that that seems to be the "service charge." I'm confused.)

Oh, and BTW, I'm sooooo jealous! Check out kexp.org. They talk about it alot, and start playing from the lineup as soon as it's announced.

Hmmm...I just may look into going. I've wanted to for a while. Can't wait to see who's playing!

Of course you can! I was going to fly...which I hate so you could hold my hand so I don't get to skeered! TeTe will bring the drinks (and skillfully hide them from the view of the flight attendants).

Hey, guys, I'm, like, kinda serious. If Panda Bear and/or Arcade Fire are on the 2008 lineup, I'm there.

I hate flying!!!! I need more than drinks. I live in Virginia, maybe there's a train.

Heading off to check Amtrak schedule.
 
Wow. Sam Roberts, Mute Math, Ween, Wilco... that's quite the line-up from last year. I wonder who will be on this year's? How exciting! And yes, the $21.85 is a service charge. I wonder how much the actual tix are?
 
Alas, Tennessee has very limited Amtrak service. Looks like the closest is Memphis (which isn't very close at all), and, as much as I love the romantic idea of "ridin' on The City of New Orleans," it doesn't really stop in too many places in TN. Man, now I've got "the disappearing railroad blues."

I guess flying would be best. I think Nashville is the closest airport (about an hour away from Manchester).
 
Me thinks I will need to fly as well. Shelley can hold my hand on the plane...as long as she doesn't give me the P90X squeeze...
