Bodymax!!!

Today, I did Bodymax for the first time. I have had this on my shelf since May. I read reviews and thought I would like it - but I was afraid of it. I am happy to say I made it through the whole thing though I did modify here and there. Anyway, I needed a little nap afterward. I guess this is a workout I should do on a day I
don't teach! Great Workout!! Cheers, Debra:)

This is an awesome workout.I really like it on days when I feel like I should do cardio and weights.Good for you that you made it all the way thru, thats quite and accomplishment. The first time I did mine I think I did it all the way thru but after that I use to break it down a bit.I can remember thinking one day...I think I will do ALL of Bodymax today. Its funny how much stronger we get with time.I don't dread this workout(like MIC) but it is an older one so I have to save it for when I am in the mood. Besides for that it was the first Cathe video that I owned so I did it ALOT in the past.

Yeah, BodyMax is an "experience" in fitness! ;)

But it really has it all, a tough cardio segment, lower body circuits and then a good upper body workout! You really feel the workout after that 90 minutes! :D

Fitness~ It's a journey, not a race!

I just did BodyMax, after not doing it for many months (maybe even a year). It is a great, all-around workout. And I'm glad to say that it was easier for me this time than when I last did it!

I did break it up into two parts (otherwise, I would have missed "Survivor"). I did cardio and the cardio/weight circuit one day, and the next day, I did a cardio workout followed by the upper body segment.

What is it about Body Max that is so difficult? I have been doing all of Body Max every Sat. for a month now and I finally figured it out - the woman takes no breaks. She might pause for a second or two between the push ups or the rear delt flyes, but otherwise it's all movement! I have been trying to limit the pausing of my DVD player to improve my endurance. I finally worked up to not having to pause between the step and the ciruit segments, but I still hit pause between the circuits and the bench presses. It's like Cathe herself says in PUB "It never lets up!"

But I feel so accomplished once it's over!

I did this one today after a long time. I think it's the most comprehensive exercise video ever made. It has everything, including some entertaining choreography. You can do the whole thing or divide it up. I like that fact that it places equal emphasis on cardio and weights, and even manages little mini intervals. It's just a great workout. This is my desert island workout. If only Cathe would do a Body Max 2.

I agree - she won't give up on this workout. But, you know what I've found too, she starts right in with the heel/toe and across the board. She doesn't even start out gradually - you put that baby in and you are off on one heck of an aerobic ride.

Cheers, Marcia :)

You know that is one of my videos I always save for a day when I have lots of time - and every time I do it I wonder why I don't do it more often! Next to how comprehensive the CTX series is, that video is the single most rounded videos around (IMHO!) :7 :7
