Good morning everyone~

I just have a moment before starting to workout and am having that moment of "did I really say I was going to do Imax2 today?" I'll do it but it's going to take me a second to get my mind wrapped around the idea.

I had chocolate AGAIN last night and I think it really makes me so sleepy in the morning and I'm having a hard time getting motivated... I'll remind myself of that tonight so I don't indulge again. Anyone else find this true?

I'm going to stretch and lace up my shoes...

Good morning, everyone!

Brenda, I don't think I've ever noticed waking up sleepy after eating chocolate at night. I was bad last night though. I made something with my leftover Krispy Kreme donut that used to be called a "grills with" at the University Diner in Charlottesville, VA, when I went to UVA. You heat up the donut in a pan, and then top it with vanilla ice cream. I didn't use a whole lot of ice cream, but I don't think it matters that much!

Also, hard as it may be to believe, I actually could do IMAX2 just a month and a half ago. I doubt I could now. I'll get back there eventually.

Well, I did clean my house some yesterday, and then did a late, light workout (Yoga on the ball). This morning I felt better when I got up, not achy at all, but more congested and a little sore throat from drainage. I had thought about doing Push Pull, but decided I'd do Janis Saffell's Brand New Butt plus Pilates for my lower body today, and the upper body segment from either MIS or Body Max tomorrow. I thought the Janis Saffell tape was going to be a lighter workout than it was. I was wrong. I liked it, but I don't think I got off easy! You know, Cathe's lower body work is great, but right now I think I'm enjoying different kinds of lower body workouts better. I don't think though, that anyone compares to Cathe for upper body workouts.

Lisa, first, the "grills with" sounds unbelievably great. Hope you enjoyed it. Second, I forgot I wanted to wish you a happy & quiet week... just enough time to miss everyone terribly and be so happy to see them when they get back, but also enough time to rejuvinate yourself.

OK, NOW I'm going to do Imax2... I swear.
 
OK Brenda, I hope you did Imax2 because I did it on your suggestion!~ C'mon girl I know you can do it and you feel SO GREAT after it is over! Get back on here when you're done and let me know!
 
Hello everyone!

Going to do SS today and yoga with Sarah Ivanhoe afterwards- it really helps to stretch and relax me and to reduce muscle aches.

Lisa- that treat sounded delish and different. Hope you're feeling better- you've been through so much lately. I know you must miss your guys- and I hope Michael has a blast there and that it will help his spirits to get through this. I'll have to check out Janis Saffel.

Brenda- you go, girl! IMAX2 is calling and you're going to show it what you're made of!:7 I haven't noticed that I've felt that way after I've had chocolate either but we're all different. Good luck on your rotation!

Judy- it's good to see you back. Hope you had a great vacation w/DH. Good luck with your new rotation- it looks good!

Good Morning everyone,

I'm doing the first week of the April rotation and just about choked when I saw the cardio line up for the week, IMAX 2 twice and MIC. A big 'I don't think so', especially since I am still quite congested and draining away all the allergy related gunk in my sinuses. As a compromise, I did do Step Blast, which has 3 intervals at the end. So I did do some intervals at least!

When I finished my workout I thought I was having deja vu as Step Blast was also on FitTV this morning! For some reason I was a bit miffed by this. It's one thing to have older workouts on the TV but Step Blast and company just came out the end of 2003 and they're already on TV?!?! Not quite sure why I'm bothered by this. It's great exposure for Cathe. I guess I just wish that since I just got the Body Blast series not too long ago, endured the waiting process for getting the DVD's, and paid good money for them that they would remain 'sacred' to Cathe devotees for a bit longer.

Okay, I'm babbling.

Lisa- WOW! A fried donut topped with ice cream?!?!? Sounds decadent! I ate like crap the whole day yesterday. Daylight savings totally threw me (it's nice to have an excuse:p ).

Brenda- You can do IMAX 2 even with a lull in energy. By interval 3 or 4 you won't remember the chocolate from last night.

Elizabeth- Do you have any of the Powerstrike videos (I know that you do martial arts)? Which ones to do you like. Have fun with your workout today.

Good Afternoon everyone!

Well this time change and losing that hour has me adjusting.

Got up this morning and it was still very dark , my alarm said 530 but my body said nooo it's 430. LOL

Anyway I had very sleepy kids this morning and a very sleepy mommy.

I just had to take an hour long catnap as I just couldn't get moving.

Just finished IMAX 2 ...and that's all I needed cause I'm revved up now.
The more I do IMAX2 the more I love that workout. It just moves so quickly and it seems to me that the music just flows so well with movements. It really puts me in such a happy mood. I just love that :)
I now can say that I love doing those straddle taps although those sumos kill my inner thighs still OUCH or maybe it's because I'm still sore from Saturdays Timesaver #5, my quads still are getting DOMS.

Brenda: How did you do with IMAX 2 isn't it great?

Lisa: Feel better soon and sometimes it's good to do other than Cathe workouts keeps it all fresh

Judy : I guess there are lots of us who had IMAX2 on rotation today. Are you doing Cathe's April rotation too?

Elizabeth: Good going with SS followed by yoga. I have a few yoga tapes but I rarely do them due to time. I could really use some extra streching as my lower body is still sore from 2 days ago. I think I'm going to turn on the jets in my tub and soak with some epsom salts and do some gentle stretching while in there :)

I think being a bit miffed is alright esp since it's Step Blast ..now come on that is still a newer workout. It kind of defeats the purpose on buying the workout when you can just record it off tv x( granted I'm sure some portions are not on the tv but still.

I just checked back in to see who else had checked in.

Thanks to everyone for your well wishes. I am enjoying my time off, but I'm definitely missing my kids. I can't wait to talk to them tonight.

By the way the fried donut was wonderful. The glaze carmelizes a little, and so it's a little crunchy on the outside. I love them, but I can't have them too often!

Sabine, if it makes you feel any better, all of the workouts on tv have to be cut back. Step Blast is 58 minutes, so you lose however much time is taken up in commercials, and you also lose the continuity when you have those breaks. It's a little frustrating, but we definitely has it better have the DVDs (we also have all those premixes!)

Good afternoon (Yeah lunch time :) )

I am so proud of myself. I did great this weekend with my eating (wrote it all down and didn't go over WW points) and I exercised faithfully. Saturday after aerobics I went to the mall because JC Penny was having a big sale where you get a candy bar when you walk in with a coupon inside it. I didn't eat the candy bar and when I got home I gave it to my husband and said "Either eat this, hide it or throw it away because I'm having issues with it sitting in my purse". Needless to say he ate it of course. Here is my workout for the week. Next week is TTOM so I've got to stay faithfull because I'll probably not go much next week.

Monday - Step class
Tuesday - Body Bar Blast
Wednesday - Kickboxing
Thursday - Body Bar Blast
Friday - Treadmill
Saturday - Body Bar Blast
Sunday - off

Quick post...I was going to workout yesterday, but DH and I were fighting a sore throat and were just so tired from the time change. Oh well. I ate well (for me!) to compinsate.

Today was PUB (minus abs due to time) and CTX S&I with SB Challenge at the end. That was much more tough than I thought it would be, but I feel good for having finished.

Glad everyone is beginning to feel better. DH and I feel better today, too.

Fried doughnuts? Wow. I love doughnuts.

IMAX 2 in the a.m. is a great accomplishment. I thought about that for today, but since I did it last week I wanted to do something different. (It was kind of like 6 intervals, so I sort of joined you all!)

Lunch time for me, too. And I'll probably have something with chocolate...even just a bite. Chocolate NEVER makes me feel tired...we're life-long friends!

OK, OK, I did it! Yes I enjoyed it! Shywolf, it does go fast. I couldn't believe that by the end that it was over so I got to do S&H Chest before having to get the kids at school. Ouch.

I have a moment now so I may do the back section of S&H or I may do the floor work of PLB (on the stability ball- ouch again).

Still feel like I'm dragging so I'm going to drink more water and move on. CinDee, my chocolate relationship is like a bad boyfriend- I love it when we're together but it always leaves me feeling empty and disappointed- unfortunately, I keep going back. :-(

HI Gals, Im Back!
Unfortunatly I had to turn Brittany Spears down when she offered me a job to be one of her dancers.I said No, I can't,I have to many other things to do and she told me to let her know if I change my mind.(anyone buying it?):)

The trip was good.We stayed at relatives,which saved a bit of cash.I did a little bit of shopping, got some new boots and workout gear.I have to say that eating went well, b/c we were staying with relatives and not eating out ALL of the time.
The concert was good.We snuck our camera in and got some pitcures.There were two songs that were a little "dirty" but I don't even think my daugther noticed.If she did,she didn't have any reaction.
I was so happy to get back on my treadmill today.I was going to take my clothes to go for a run but I decided against it b/c I didn't know where we were going to be staying( weather it was safe to run outside or not)But it was a nice neighbourhood and we weren't that busy that I couldn't have fit it in.
But i managed to sqeeuze in a 50 min run tonight before I went to work.And it felt great.After 3 days off I had lots of energy to burn.
Anyway,I will check back tomorrow.I just wanted to check in and let everyone know that I was back.
