Well, it's 1:00am EST and I was just about to post to Wednesday's thread when I realized...HEY, IT'S THURSDAY ON THE EAST COAST. So here we are.

Why am I awake at 1am you ask??? We just got in from the ER. DH has a very large kidney stone. The pain came out of nowhere and into the ER we went. 6 1/2 hours later, we are home!

So, my meal #5 & #6 was a package of mini-pretzels from the vending machine at 10:00pm. It was the cleanest item in there so does that make it CLEAN?!?! I'll take a yes! The guy next to us found out he was being admitted around 10:00pm so he ordered chinese food. I wanted to reach through the curtain and give him an uppercut. Of course, I didn't.

Missed my UB workout too. Did plenty of pacing though. So today, I'll get in HIIT and PUB or just do HIIT and tack PUB onto my leg workout on Friday.

So everyone have a great day. I'm off to bed {insert HUGE yawn here}. And I'll BBL!!!

Good morning Belinda! This is nice being in different time zones -- I always know I can count on you to be on-line even when it is EARLY here!!! :)

Okay, I ate 100% clean yesterday. I hit the snooze once this morning -- thought about the 5, yes FIVE, inches I need to lose around my waist and I kicked my own self out of bed. Just got off the elliptical.

I apologize for not getting to personals the last few day. Things have been crazy. Hopefully I'll have a little more down time at work today. And I will attempt to stop obsessing over my waist measurement. (Let me tell you, it's going to be a long awhile before I bring out that hideous tape measure again!! ) It had been 5 years.. it just may be 5 more!! har har.

Okay, thanks for listening gals. And sorry to dron on and on about it. You gals are the BEST!!!

The clean eating vibes are working. I’m really trying to get this part down. Do any of you take extra magnesium to stop those monthly cravings? I’ve been debating . . .

Today was cardio – but I slept in, could feel a head cold coming on and thought a bit of extra sleep would help. I should get it in tonight.

Gayle – Core work? My upper abs are just fine, but anything that works the lower abs just kills me (mostly because they don’t have the strength to pull up my hips). I finally remembered to get the cottage cheese to try the pancakes (because I’m also not a lover), and now you’re switching to ricotta?

Michelle – Sending thoughts of clean eating your way. Together we can do it! That’s how we’ll bring down those measurements! I think I’m getting close to post-first pregnancy size, but getting under that hurdle . . .

Kathy – Congrats on heavying up. I’ve always wanted shoulders; still trying to get them. No DOMS today even though I felt like I completely exhausted them yesterday.

Susan – I’m glad the clean eating is going well. I’m thinking that last protein shake in the evening is also helping me out. And this after years of “don’t eat anything after 7.”

Jennifer – I agree with everyone else – go see the doc. You are much too young to be feeling that much pain. I also have the Sandisk MP3 – pretty inexpensive at Best Buy or Circuit City.

Belinda – Yes, get the EFL book. I’ve made the turkey meatloaf. And I didn’t know there were so many delicious ways to use Myoplex or protein powder.

Melissa – Planning has been the key for me also, though it means that lunch and snacks that I take to work are pretty much the same thing every day of the week. At least I mix it up a bit over time or it would get really boring!

Workout this morning...and working thru some good leg and core DOMS...LIC cardio premix PLUS the blast-only premix, then Core Max tough core premix. FELT IT...let me tell yoU!

Good morning everyone and THANKS for the well-wishes. You guys are great.

DH is still sleeping and slept through the night, so that's good. The doc told him that as far as the pain goes, it's the closest he's ever going to get to experiencing what a woman goes through during labor...}( . So today he has to go to a specialist for a consult and they'll schedule a procedure to break the stone up via ultrasound so that he can pass it.

Okay, off to get DD up for school. Letting her sleep in a little since she waiting up for us to come home last night. :-(

Nice to see everyone sticking to their CLEAN EATING and getting their workouts in. Are we AWESOME or what?!?!? :7

Gayle-did you enjoy CM tough? I rarely have DOMS in my abs..but I do this morning after doing that premix yesteday! I love it!

This morning I ony had time for a 5 mile run using iTread 20 Intervals and 2/3 of iTread 21 Intervals. I also got up another pound lighter yesterday and it was still gone this morning, woohoo! :)

Melissa-YES….WE ARE AWESOME! LOL Is there a chance DH will have that kind of pain again before they break up the stones? And what is he to expect when he actually DOES pass them? And MAN…if he could really TRULY know what childbirth is really like! HA!

Susan-I did like that premix. I really REALLY felt it in my lower abs mostly. Not sure why, perhaps because I’m already sore there? My only complaint (and it’s a SMALL complaint) is that I didn’t have enough time to grab the stability ball, or the med ball, or put a ball away before the next segment came on. I didn’t want to miss a single rep, so I had to pause it twice, but again, no biggie!

Kathy-iTread 20 intervals? HMmmmmmmmmmmm. I don’t have that one, I may have to check it out! Great workout, and excellent on that loss!

Yesterday was a sort of interesting day. I was feeling kind of strange…not ill strange, but weird. I felt fat. Does that ever happen to you? You do really well, you’re losing weight, clothes are fitting very well (jeans were loose yesterday) and you’re working out, yet you feel fat? Perhaps “fat” isn’t the right word. In the past, I normally would have hit the pantry on a day like yesterday, but it was SOOO easy to look in the fridge at meal time and grab something clean because I’m prepared and well-stocked! So I kept it clean all day and not one single craving hit me. Then last night, while my kids were playing well together (which rarely happens these days), I went upstairs to clean out my closet. I was packing away my summer clothes (yes, I hadn’t done it yet, lol) and decided to try on my summer clothes. 95% of my stuff fit and MOST of it was loose. These are clothes (shorts, more specifically) that I couldn’t even wear this past summer because they were way too tight. Now they FIT! It’s like getting a whole new wardrobe. Some of my favorite shorts and tanks are in there too! So my ‘strange mood’ shifted last night! YEAH!

Hi girls,

Just a quick check in! This morning I pulled out my Cathe catalog and marked all the premixes that I have done in the post! To my surprise I noticed there are still a lot of premixes I have never done before! I know what you are thinking?? ‘She got way to much time on her hands’! I am lazy today! Do you keep track of what premixes you have done, so you don’t do the same workouts over and over?? I still have Cathe DVD’s that I have never opened! Isn’t that crazy? I hope my DH is not reading this! LOL! He is probably wondering way in the heck I want more Cathe DVD’s? Too many options and I still can’t decide what workout I will do today!

Sherry - take care of that cold. I've never heard of taking magnesium.

Belinda - EFL is a MUST!! I love it. When I make dinner for the family this is what I reach for. And the meals actually feel like you are cheating - even though you are not.

Kathy - Way to go on i-treads - and losing another pounds -- yahoo!!

Gayle -- YOU felt fat?!! Do I ever feel fat?! ARE YOU CRAZY WOMAN!!! My tape read 5 inches bigger yesterday -- did you not see that -- har har -- have I repeated it enough yet?! (I even measured my waist again this morning -- just to be sure, ugh - yes five inches).

We all have those days. Trying on clothes -- especially loose fitting summer clothes hopefully got you out of it! Also, WAY TO GO for not reaching for food. That's my big downfall -- might as well eat it if you feel like you are fat. I'm glad you are out of that mood -- take a look at you in the bikini -- that should work. I'm sorry you had the "mood" swing yesterday -- but at least now we all know you are human Gayle -- I really have been thinking you were superwoman -- okay.... I STILL think you are Superwoman!!

Okay - a HUGE HELLO to all of you gals -- I'll get back to you later!! Looks like everyone is eating clean and working out -- YEAH!!!

Belinda-FUNNY thing that you should mention doing this with the catalog! I just pulled my catalog out last night too! (but it wasn't to mark off all the workouts I've done, lol). I was looking thru it to see which workouts would be good for HIIT, intervals, blasts, premixes, etc. That and I'm looking for new core/ab workouts to throw in! Ironic, isn't it, that we BOTH pulled out this catalog? lol

I'm back...sometimes it's hard to get back on when I'm at work, but I try to type up the post, and then copy and paste...this way they can't say I am on the internet too much .. LOL :)

I am tired of feeling sorry for myself, and as of today (RIGHT NOW) I am going to do something about it. Things are not going to happen if I don't go after them and want them enough!!
They opened a new gym down the road from my house. Even though I have a membership with, "Planet Fitness," now...it states on their website that they will offer upto 2-months free
with proof of current membership at another gym. The name of the gym is, "Old School Fitness." I have never heard of them. GAYLE~ Is there any out near you? As my BF says, they are a small, unknown gym, they won't last. I like that they offer classes, this would probably help me keep myself in line if I would be able to work out w/ others, ya know?
I would love to join the YMCA, but it's $58.50/mth, plus you have to pay a $80 sign up fee... definitely not in my budget right now :(

You know, call me crazy...but I was checking out JillianMichaels.com this morning. How I would love to have a trainer like her. Can you tell I watch too much Biggest Loser...LOL :)
I would sign up for her program also, but you know how that goes...need $$$ for everything...You can't find much for free anymore can you? LOL

Thanks for all the ideas for the MP3 player, I think I might stop by Circuit City over the weekend and pick up a cheap one. I guess if it wasn't for my BF telling me to constantly gain weight...I might of been back a while ago... sometimes he doesn't make me feel good about myself :( It's usually all about him. Maybe it's time for me to get some help and talk to someone!

Gayle~ Great job getting out of your slump. My slump been with me for weeks...LOL That's great about your summer clothes...WooHoo!! You are such a inspiration, now I wish I can keep up with you.... LOL I was actually going through some clothes last night as well. My summer clothes are still fitting, but I don't feel comfortable in them, if that makes any sense! I know you said you went through the entire emotional eating, etc. How did you over come this? I know you said that you actually called someone, where can I find some of this info, or would you suggest any books to check out? I am going to buy a few iTrain workouts for the elliptical, which ones do you think are the best?

My BF (Sandro) is originally from Italy, he moved to the US when he turned 20, all his other family is still there. Michelle~ Great job eating clean!! The tape measure and scale are both evil! :( I really need to try and just stay away! LOL Hey, vent away... I am official the biggest baby on this board lately! LOL I'm sure you look great! I took my measurements over the weekend, after I was stuffed w/ junk...and I have to say it was not pretty site...LOL YUCK!!! Everything went up on me...Horrible! Colds are going around, I think everyone in our office has been sick. I try to keep myself closed in my office, maybe I won't get it...LOL My DD just got over it, so I'm bound to get it.
Thanks, I did make another Orthopedic appt for next Tuesday. I think it might be good for him to look at it. Last time I was there I only saw a Practicing Physician (not saying she wasn't great), but I would love for the doctor to look at it. How did you like the EFL Meatloaf? For some reason, I don't care for it too much. My BF loves it. Definitely with some ketchup it tastes better .. LOL Have a great workout!!

I was planning on a power walk but it started to rain so I pulled out Super Cardio..I always sweat buckets with that workout.
Jenn Im sooo glad you are feeling better and I hope the Ortho has some answers for you!!! I might be going to an ortho too. PT has helped my IT band some but its still so sore all the time.

Ok, so I contacted the new gym near my house.
He gave me the low down on the prices and it turned me away.. Not so much the monthly fees, 50/mth (no contract), 55/mth (contract) I could handle, but their Initition fee is $100.00... That's crazy!!!

Susan~ Sorry to hear about your IT Band. Does this limit what type of cardio you do?

Jennifer-No, I don’t have a gym by that name by me here. We’re members at the YMCA, but I’m canceling it NOW because we don’t even go! lol TAKE CHARGE OF YOU! On the Emotional Eating situation. I’m STILL an emotional eater. I just have it under control now. I never had a problem with food until DH got sick. I can remember sitting in my living room when the kids were in bed, inhaling a whole container of cashews. Then I’d grab something else and finish that off….then another. There came a point (it was when we realized the very REAL possibility that DH wasn’t going to make it) when I just said that I HAD to take control OF ME! We cannot control TONS of things. Basically, the ONLY thing we can control is US! OURSELF! That’s it. We can control what we eat, how we react, how we act, how we treat others, etc. When I joined Weight Watchers back then, I felt this sort of release. Like I realized that what I was doing was initially for ME! Back then, I spoke with my priest, and that’s about it. I couldn’t afford anything ‘official’, or else I would have called a counselor. I had considered called Overeaters Anonymous too, but I didn’t. In the end, I think it was MY PERSONAL rock-bottom at that point. From there on out, I decided I would not fret over the things I cannot control. It’s a waste of energy to do so. Now, I do something “because I can”. Look at your slogan under your yoga gal...it says "Today is a gift; Have fun." Think about that!
