Best way to measure Body Fat %

Hey everyone,
Im thinking about getting an Omron Fat Loss Monitor to check body fat but I thought I'd ask what everyone uses as there are so many different models out their.
Any feed back would be greatly appreciated!

The last time I had my bodyfat checked, I went to the University and was weighed under water. That was a trip. I have calipers, at home, but haven't used them for years. So, I'm kind of a relic, and I don't know what the latest gadget is for body fat measuring. Wish I did. Sorry, I guess I just posted something that was a waste of your time. My apologies. If you do purchase the Omron Fat Loss Monitor, post a review. Please!

Wow! That's would have been a trip! Ive decided to order the Omron handheld one so fingers n toes crossed it works well :) Will let you know, thanks :)

I've looked at so many different things to measure body fat. Wasn't sure which one was the best. Please let us know how it works. I'd be very interested in hearing. I had looked at Omron... decided to hold off on the purchase until I did more homework or look at more reviews.

In my opinion, the Omron is not accurate. Having do it under water is the best way and gives the best results. Calipers are also very good if the person know what he or she is doing.

I have the orman and calibers. The orman gives pretty consistent results but is affected by your hydration status. I don't think its accurate as other methods so I wouldnt' quote its on here but if just for your own personal motivation using it weekly and seeing the number go down its works fine. Thanks for posting these links. I do own the omron one. Though it is not accurate, I have used it in the past
to check my own progress. The simple height, neck and abdomen calculation is helpful IMO:)
