Bear in Subway Restaurant

oh, I think it's sad they shot it, but I do think it is so funny how it just kinda walked on in there.
I am thinking I won't ever eat Subway again - if a bear won't eat then maybe we shouldn't either... ;):p

That was so cute how he let himself in & out of there. I couldn't hear what they were saying, I have my music playing on the computer. So they shot him huh? Poor thing. :(
 
I first saw the video on MSN and didn't hear any reports of euthanasia. The reports on youtube said they shot him. They said they have to do it for public safety because the bear was not afraid of humans. I don't know? I would like to think he got away.
 
I thought it was rather smart how he got in and out of there too!:)

I heard on the news a little while ago that "they tracked him and put him down". Why would they do that? Did they feel he'd go back? Sad.....:(

YES!!! They shot him with a tranquilizer dart, not a bullet, and airlifted him back into the middle of the wilderness and right now he is hunting for berries, eating honey and kissing his girlfriend! :D

awww I thought it was so cute till I heard they shot it. Usually black bears aren't very aggressive I thought? Even then if they relocated it out in the boonies it should be fine. argh.
