Looking at expanding my Cathe collection for variety and would looooove to get comments/comparison on these DVDs from the EC.

I voted for Timesaver simply because I like the cardio portion and the ab and core work better than CTX. I think the upper body workouts in CTX are longer than in Timesaver. I also have Timesaver in DVD and CTX on VHS, so mixing up the workouts is completely better with the DVD. Eventually I would think you'd need both of these series....just my 2 cents...:)...Carole

I like the timesaver DVDs much more than CTX. The choreography is more interesting and the time flys. CTX has a lot of power 15(s) and repetitive moves so I get bored with it quickly. Many people just love it so it is more what type of moves you prefer. The Timesaver kickboxing and legs & glutes workouts are just fun.

If you've already got any of the BB cardio workouts, I would go with CTX. I think the weight work in CTX is better, and the cardio is lifted from the BB workouts. They've just used short sections of it. CTX cardio is all original.

If you don't have the BB workouts and don't plan to get them, the Timesaver does provide a good sample of what they're like. If impact is an issue, the Timesaver has less impact than CTX cardio.

I think that CTX is more intense. I find that my heartrate isn't high enough for any length of time with the timesaver DVD. I love the weight work on CTX. Good luck!

I'm a little confused about the poll. What are you polling about? Which one is harder or which one do you prefer? I like the newness of the Timesaver DVD, but for intensity and variety IMO, nothing beats CTX!:)

I was asking for opinions on preferance really and any insight as to what that preference was based on.

I've since taken the plunge and purchased CTX.

I really appreciated everyone's feedback.
