BB legs and glutes question.

Hi everyone, I have done all of the new BB videos and I am loving them so far. I must admit though, I am a bit afraid to try legs and glutes after the leg work in push pull and supersets. Those slow low ends are killing me! Is this workout really a killer or is just "normal" Cathe killer. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks

L&G is GREAT! I sweat during it and it makes me sore. It doesn't seem like a REAL KILLER tape because it just flies by and the music is awesome! It is very different from most of Cathe's other strength tapes since you don't use a barbell. You use ankle weights and hand held weights and also a bodybar for balance. Let me know what you think. It is my fav so far of the tapes. Still need to try Kick, Punch & Crunch and StepBlast. Have FUN!

Thanks so much for the reply. I did this one this morning, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, I really liked it in fact. The jury is still out on those ankle weights though! I think I'm going to be really sore tomorrow. I think my favorite of the new tapes is Stepblast. I usually like the strength tapes more, but this one is soooo much fun. Good luck with it.

I KNEW you'd like it! It's funny, I teach Hi/Lo with endurance strength work and my class format for the strength part is VERY similar to L&G's. (We don't have barbells due to storage space for them) We use hand held and ankle weights in class. That being said...I got soooo SORE from the L&G tape. Somehow the order or just a few new things hit my legs & rear bigtime. I LOVE this tape! Can't wait to try StepBlast! BTW Vickie, WELCOME to Catheland! It is so nice to see so many new fans here. Have fun with your new series.

I don't have these yet as I preordered the DVD's but I just had to laugh at this question esp at the phrase "normal" Cathe killer :)
 
I loved L&G (although I did it without the ankle weights)! It hits a few spots, especially high in the glutes, that no other tape has hit for me. It's different from any other tape I've ever tried. And it's challenging without being overwhelming (although I have a feeling that my change when I get brave enough for those ankle weights).
