BB Dvd disc error

I just received my BB DVD's and I am unable to play all of them except the timesaver dvd. I can play the push-pull (from play program only) but when I play the superset it will let me see the introduction then I get a message saying "error from disc...please check disc. I get the same response when I play the KPC/LEG $ GLUTES dvd and the Step,Jump and Step blast dvd. I can't even get to the introduction. I know that sometimes the dvd player may not be compatiable but I would hate to have to purchase another dvd player just to workout. I can play all of the other Cathe Dvds with no problems. I have already e-mailed to SMN, but just wanted to know if anyone else has that problem, or maybe any suggestions. P.S If I do decide to buy another DVD player what features should I look for. If your DVD said 'Disc Error', I think you should return the disks and have them replaced. The same thing happened to me (not with Cathe Dvds) and it turned out the disk was indeed defective and the company I ordered it from replaced it.

I just tried to play the DVD's on my mothers player and all four worked just fine. I am beginning to think that maybe it is my dvd player. I am not sure if returning for another set will help, since all four are working fine on another dvd player. I will upgrade my dvd player for a more expensive one this week (since I just purchased this dvd player less then 3 weeks ago) and if I seem to have the same problem, I might either exchange for another set or just ask to have the new workout on vhs (which I hate to do). But anyway thanks for your response..chap

My mom had this problem with a dvd - she then sent it to me (I had given it to her as a gift) and it wouldn't work in one of my dvd players. I tried it in another and it worked.

My dad said he then took their dvd player in for an 'update' and then they were able to play the dvd.

Chap,

I responded on another post about my TV/VCR?DVD player - it wouldn't play any of my DVD's either - it would show the menu and I would push enter then the screen would go back to the screen saver - I couldn't believe it - I tried it on my children's Combo and all 4 DVD's work fine.

I ended up switching the TV's, but I ended up with the smaller one - but they are both flat screened - it just goes to show you it is the DVD players. Why some players play it and others don't I do not know. I just told my husband that Cathe ought to start selling her own DVD players to go with her DVD's. I thought he was going to faint for I could see the dollar signs in his eyes! He said she might as well for she already gets most of our money abyway! Ha-ha.

I hope you can solve this problem without having to get a new DVD player.
