Bands for Firewalkers

Power-systems.com also sells similiar type bands. Cathe mentioned this a while back. They are certainly easier than tieing the longer bands around the leg as you can just step in and out of them.

Firewalker bands

I use the green ones, they are hard enough for me at this time. I purchased three different resistances so that I can move up to the next level when I am ready but I love that they don't stretch out.

I received a similar band with my Valslides. I agree, it's a lot better than tying the longer bands. :) I wondered where you could find them to buy.
Thanks for posting!

I while back I ordered something called Versa Loop (they may be the same ones talked about here!). But -- I ordered mine after doing Tracey Staehle's Parts Workout -- she does a GREAT workout using these and I LOVED them! I don't do Firewalkers without them now (even though I have my Cathe band). It's just easier with these!

I use very similar bands to the ones in the link ( I got them from SPRI products.- about $2 each) There are several levels of resistance and I use them all the time in the sculpting classes I teach. Whenever there are firewalkers in the Cathe's workouts I just pull out the heaviest resistance rubber band from Spri rather than using my Cathe band. Nothing like those firewalkers to get deep into the glutes and the saddlebag area!

What a coincidence! Try as I may, I cannot keep up with all the great tips here so I didn't see this thread until now. Funny though, last night I placed an order at Perform Better for a few Superbands and saw these inexpensive little bands which I also thought would be perfect for Firewalkers. I also bought the green, blue and black and it added less than $9 to my order. Free shipping is still on until the 24th, but they have that offer quite often.

I also have the red Versa Loop, which is great but it's only one resistance. I downloaded the band exercises from the site and like that you can also use it for arms (or arms and legs if you're up to it!) I have many Spri tubings with handles and use them frequently, but they don't work well for Cathe's lovely Firewalkers!
