Okay, here goes nothing: (If I'm going to be bad, I may as well do it with the keyboard and not in the kitchen)
- McDonalds fries, in the car on the way home from the drive-through with my kids' Happy Meals;
- Oreos, with a nice big glass of ice cold milk;
- chocolate croissants, warm and melty from the oven;
- Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey or Cookie Dough, from the carton, eaten with a grapefruit spoon while the kids are asleep, watching a DVD with my husband;
- Those French's fried onion rings, right out of the can;
- New England Clam Chowder, with lots of crusty French bread for dipping;
- Fettucine Alfredo, need I say more?;
- A glass of Egg Nog on Christmas;
- A peanut butter and jelly sandwich, on Wonder bread (I tasted a crust I cut off my daughter's the other day and thought, "I know why kids like these so much!");
- Potato chips and onion dip--an American classic;
- Cheddar burger, rare, with sauteed onions and a side of steak fries (and of course, a cold, dark beer) . . .
I think I'd better stop now, my eyes are glazing over and I'm salivating like crazy. Gotta go broil some flounder and steam some veggies . . .
