It's just not right!!

I live east/central Michigan and it is currently 0 outside with a winb chill of -18. My sister lives in the "thumb" (look at a map) and it is -4 with a windchill of -27.;(

Wow, I live in Virginia and my temp is about 13, with wind chills close to 0. I thought I had it bad, but now I will stop complaining!!

LOL i though the same thing.but we do have that bedford fire between there and lynchburg. my mom is only a few blocks away and has not had power since yesterday afternoon. lots of big trees went down from the wind.we couldn't cook at our church lunch yesterday b/c the power went out there. the wind is a nuisaince to say the least today.

I hear ya! It's cold here too. 48 degrees this a.m. with a wind chill of 47 degrees! Brrr...

And I think that our high today is going to barely hit 72 }(

It's so cold here in Western Michigan. Yesterday DH and I braved the blizzard to go buy groceries. It was -22 with the wind chill. As soon as I stepped outside, a blast of FREEZING cold, snowy air hit me right in the face and I felt like I couldn't breathe!!! Good times.
 
I'm in South Georgia but grew up in Chicago so I understand COLD!!! I'm sending all you frozen folks some warm, toasty thoughts!

I'm in mid-Michigan (Lansing area) and the temp was -1 when I left for work this morning. Brrrrr!

Y'all just move on down south, where it's quite comfy - about 28-30 F at night, and right now in the 50s during the day. You might want to move back north during the summer though. I'm dreading it already.
 
I am glad that I am not ALL alone. Here in Toronto right now it is -15 (feel like -24) I really feel sorry for people who have to work outside.
 
Here, in Winnipeg it's minus 27 without the wind chill and minus 30 with it. Yesterday we were minus 46 with the windchill in the morning. Kim
 
And wouldn't you know it, today for the first time this semester, I couldn't find a close parking spot, and had to park in a far lot. Yikes, that walk was chilly!
 
I, also, live in Western Michigan. The outdoor temperature this morning at 5:30 AM was -13, without the windshield. That is down right COLD!!!

I'm in Michigan, too -- just north of Ann Arbor. I can't find appropriate words: "cold" seems silly. Oh! I know. "Painful." There it is. ;)

The temp itself is not horrible, in the lower 20s, but the wind chill makes it rather sucktastic. UGH.

I'm here with you in Michigan, Southeast, in Ann arbor and I have never experienced such cold weather as we get here in MI. Tell a lie, I have once before, in Chicago! Not much better......

I had to go out repeatedly yesterday, and I could barely breathe the windchill was so bad.

The pipes in my daughter's school burst overnight and she had no school today. She's happy!

Roll on May, seriously....

I'm in OH. Along with all this cold weather, we're suppose to be geting hit with 6 to 10 inches of snow. I can only hope I don't have work tomorrow. :D

Sorry. Here in Texas it was in the 70s all weekend. I was able to leave the windows open and get a nice breeze through the house. Though as a teacher, I wouldn't mind one snow/ice day soon.
