Baby Doll Shirts!

We have had several emails asking if we can give you a better indication of the sizing of the Baby Doll T-shirt. Btw, if you would like to change your current size, please make sure to email us at [email protected]

Sizing....I will give this my best shot. These shirts are designed to be form fitting. They have a little play in them as they are not a snug fit like a body suit, however, much more tapered than a classic t-shirt.

They fit close to the body through the neck, shoulder, chest, and upper rib area. They fit a little looser at the navel and hips. I am 5'2" and my back measures 36. Because of this I take a size medium, however, I think if you do NOT have broad shoulders, or a broad back, or a very large bust, you can wear a small if you are around my height and typically wear a small. When I put on a small, it still fits but it is a bit snug around the arm sleeve opening and across the upper back area. The length of both the small and the medium come to my hip bones. If anybody who already has these shirts can contribute anything that you feel would be helpful, please feel free to chime in.

Hope this helps :)

:D Hi Cathe! I will try to help! I am 5'5" 130 lbs (naked)(medium-small frame, chest is 36" cup size C, sometimes B (I didn't know if you needed to know that or not) and I usually wear a ladies medium/small shirt. My upper body is smaller than lower (classic pear). I could tell by looking at the "Cathe" shirts I would need either a L or XL. I opted for the XL. I didn't want my rolls to hang out! Seriously, if you have flat, washboard abs or they could use a little help, consider this when purchasing the shirts either go smaller or larger! Also, consider your bust size! Hope this helps some!

:D Also Cathe, I was wondering if you could get some of your class members to model the diffent size shirts and then post them on the forums for all to visualize. What do you think? Let me know if I can be of further help!:)

Okay Cathe~ya just knew I'd have to ask this...

"and what about us beefier chicks?" You know, the ones around 160-ish that haven't quite crossed over to the "promised land?"

So if you're bustier/backier and say 38-40 what might that be? :D

Thanks,

Donna (who hopes she can fit a Cathe tee!?)

Hey Donna!

I can't join the busty girls club but I can sure join the backy girls :7 -- I think based on Cathe's description that if that wee termite of a gal takes an M, I will be an L or XL -- probably an XL.

Raising the question, of course -- who in the world will wear those size S shirts???

Cathe, one add'l question re: this

This may sound crazy like apples & oranges, but I think it would help me decide on a size to know this: What size do you wear in the (1) Nike lipstick tank top and (2) the Fifth Element bra tops?

If you have a second to respond I think that would give me a better sense of how my sizing compares to you. I'm taller than you and carrying more body fat for sure, but I am small-busted, small-framed and my upper back measures 37. I am usually a M, never a S, in fitness tops and almost always prefer a M in T-shirts. In the Nike I am a size M, but in the Fifth Element tops I went up to a L for added comfort through the upper back.

Thanks Cath!

If this helps, my order invoice says the Tshirts are 100% pre-shrunk cotton.
These must run in the same size range as Guess Baby Doll T's. Since Cathe's description I found I take the same size as the Guess ones.

If Cathe shirts are the same as the Firm baby doll tees, I have one and they look the same in the picture, then I would wear a medium. I have worn and washed it several times and it is still in very good condition and still fits the same as when I received it. I'm 5', 123 pounds, and wear 34C/D. I think I could have worn a small, but I'm 40 now and I don't wear tight tops anymore. Also, for comparison, I wear a small in exercise tops which I do like tight so that nothing bounces around. ;) I have ordered a medium in the Cathe shirt, by the way.

Hi Cathe,

Since you and I are the same height, I wanted to know how did you measure your back? Also, what is your bust size (if this helps in determining the size of the baby doll)? I'm a 34B (or a 32C if I could find this size).

I currently ordered a small as I usually wear an extra small in Gap Stretch shirts.

Thank you,
Lorrayne

Well, I least I know I ordered the right size which is small :7 .. I am 5'2" and weigh 110 ... I am a 34A ... my measurements from one arm to the other with a flat back is 17, actually just barely 17 inches. .... Rhonda :7

How do you measure your back? Around the body under, over or above the bust? And are the shirts all cotton or do they have a little lycra in them?
Thanks,
Cindy
