Hi Wiggie!

Great work outs you've been doing! Thanks for keeping the thread alive while I was gone!:)

We returned home from vacation this morning. It was a fabulous trip but the only work outs I did were (2) one mile jaunts on the jogging track the first two mornings on the ship. So ashamed!!!:rolleyes:

Unfortunately I started getting some sinus issues the other day so I came home feeling pretty poopish. I am taking airborne now that we are back and sinus meds. Hopefully it won't get any worse. I really don't need to feel miserable on my first day at the new job (Sunday!)!!!! I'm not working today or tmrw so I will try to take it easy & hopefully I'll feel better fast. Fingers crossed!

Speaking of the new job, I need to certify with ACE within the first 6 months of employment. I ordered the study supplies before I left and it came while we were away. Can't believe I have to hit the books again so soon!

So while we were away our house was shown 3x! Then we came home to find the St. Joseph statue my DH ordered in our mailbox (supposed to bring good luck when selling a house!). I guess it's already started working!!!! :D

So I worked the night before leaving on vacation. On the way to work I stopped at the local tattoo/piercing shop to pick up a new belly button ring b/c I lost the ball (backing) to mine so I was holding it on with a rubber earing back. Anyway, I walked out of there with 2 new belly button rings and a nose piercing! I've admired the nose piercing (small stud in the side of the nostril-NOT the hoop and/or bull "look") for quite some time now so while I was there I started asking questions about it (no intention on getting it done at first) and 5 mins later I was in the chair! OMG! LOL Anyway, I absolutely love it! :D Having a brand new piercing there is NOT an opportune time to be having sinus issues of course but I'm dealing.

Miss Katie, are you ever coming back to us? We miss you!!!!!:(

Ok, I'll shut up now. Not sure when I'll start working out again but when I do I will certainly report it!

Yesterday I didn't work out and then today I was in serious danger of NOT working out again but I forced myself to make it happen around 5pm today. Here's what I did::
Warm up of Foam rolling, Indian clubs, t squats, wide lateral lunges and overhead squats and then this timed circuit::
Alternating Myagis, Alternating DB Back Rows, Perfect Push Ups, Alternating Lateral Squats w/a band and Alt KB Swings. I went through the circuit 4 times, doing each exercise for 40 seconds with 20 seconds rest between each.

Yesterday's work out was 32 rounds of 30 sec work and 30 sec rest. I mixed and matched the following exercises:: KB Swings (one hand, alt hand & and 2 hand), Myagis (single and alt), Kneeling Slide Reaches (Single and Alt), KB Pick Ups (1 hand/1 kb and 2 hand/2 kb), Plank to Push Ups, 1 arm DB Speed Squats & Burpees. Good work out!

So glad you're back Wendy, I missed you!!

Wow 3 showings, did anyone bite? If not I'm sure some one will soon. I think you're doing a great job jumping back into your workouts. ;) & I know you'll ACE that exam!!:p (pun intended) Did that nose ring hurt!

I didn't write down all my workouts but here are the ones I remember;

M-Beast Arms, Cardio strength

T-GG

W-Lower Back & Legs(weight workout w/a friend), chased by Pump it Up(from Firm Express)

TH-The Challenge

I haven't decided what I'll do today.

Again, really glad you're back, have a great weekend!!:D

Hi. :)

Yesterday was a rest day - soooo busy with work! I was exhausted when I got home at the end of it all.

Today is a toss up. My race is tmrw so I don't want to over-do it. Still a little sore in the LB but feel like if I do nothing (especially have rested y'day), that I'll be like a tin man on the course tmrw. Perhaps I'll do something light in a bit...time will tell...

So I have another job interview in a couple of weeks at the YMCA by me!:D Technically I have no time in my schedule for another job  BUT I want to keep my options open. Perhaps it would be worth quitting the studio for?? Not leaving the new gym so soon - just invested good $ into getting the certification that they require so I am there for the duration unless it's just not working out....Anyway, I applied to the YMCA around the same time that I applied to the new gym but they just contacted me last week and I've heard good things so I gotta check it out! :)

Nice workouts Wiggie! Nope, no offers on the house but the 3 showings were exciting anyway! If it's under contract before our 6 month contract with our realtor expires I will be happy! Thanks re the ACE exam encouragement! I have a while yet before I take it. May not wait the full 6 months this time but I'm not rushing either.
