Liann, thanks for sharing all those great photos! Did you spend Thursday night in NJ or just drive down for the day? Looks like you had a blast!

Hey, what's everybody wearing Sat night? I think I need something new. ;) I just want a casual skirt or skort with a nice top. thoughts?

Yesterday's step class with Cathe just whet my appetite for what's to come.:)
 
Hey ladies!

Gosh, I have no idea what to wear, Phyllis! A casual skirt or skort sounds perfect! In a recent post on the RT forum, they said to dress casual both nights. I'm thinking that I may sneak in a shopping trip next weekend . . . . ;)

Phyllis - Your pics came out great. And that's a good idea to wear a skirt or skort on Saturday night. I want to be comfortable and look half-way presentable.

Leanne - this is the perfect excuse to sneak in a little shopping trip! I don't really need anything, but that hasn't stopped me from picking up a few things here and there. Especially sneakers. If I come home with one more pair of sneakers, I think my husband will go nuts!!

Are any of you going to be at Friday morning's step class? I can't check in to the hotel until about 3 o'clock on Friday, I'm sure. I was planning on showering at Cathe's gym but not sure what to do after that. Maybe I'll check out that mall everyone's been talking about. See Leanne, another excuse to shop!!!:D

Melissa, I will be at the Friday morn class. I haven't thought about what to do after that though. Shopping is a good idea :D
 
I'll definitely be at the Fri morning class. The Deptford Mall is minutes away. There is also a target nearby. A lot of people like that. There are oodles of places to eat also.

So, I'm also thinking flip flops to wear Sat night. I think casual is the name of the game. :)
 
I'm getting in Thursday evening so I can make the Friday morning class, too! Maybe we could get a group together for lunch and some shopping! Wouldn't that be fun?? Great idea, Phyllis, to wear flip flops! It sounds like things will be pretty casual!
 
For those of us getting in Thursday, does anyone want to plan on dinner?

I should be getting to the hotel around 4 ish, maybe sooner depending on traffic.

As far as Saturday night's outfit, I will be wearing capris and a casual top.

I still need to plan out the rest of the weekends wardrobe :confused:
 
That sounds like fun to get dinner that evening! My plane doesn't get in until 5:15, so I'm hoping to be at the hotel by 6:15. (I'm hoping not to check luggage.) Tanya is coming in the same flight as me, and I know that Kara/Squirrely and Peggie were also hoping to get some dinner. Would it be alright if we got a big group together? Oh . . . now I'm getting even more excited!! :p
 
Leanne, that sounds good. IIRC there is something like a Buckheads or similar style place at the hotel. So we wouldn't even have to go far if we don't want to.

Catherine, are we still getting a ride from, oh, I can't remember her name. Let me know if you have heard anything.

Leanne - I will wait for you at the hotel and then figure out from there.
 
Peggy, as far as I know we are still on. I'm sure we'll set something up this week. Her name is Namita user name Atiman (I think I got that right). We should all exchange cell phone numbers and I guess give each other our flight numbers just in case something happens and there are delays. Hopefully that won't happen. But I am not trusting the airlines much right now :rolleyes:
 
Hey fellow Roadtrippers! I haven't had time to post on this thread, but wanted to say hi! I get into Philly at 1:10 on Thursday and am roomies with Leanne at the Fairfield. All of your talk is making me sooo excited! I can't wait!

Anyhoo, I would love to join y'all for lunch/dinner/shopping/anything at all if that is OK? I haven't met any Catheites in person, so am a bit nervous. I also am scared to death of flying, so...crud, I sound way too pathetic! I'm really not, really!

I can't wait to meet everyone of you! :)
 
Kara, no need to be nervous about meeting people!! Now I wish I could help ya with the flying thing :p

Seriously, it'll be so much fun!!
 
Hi girls! I've been so busy with our patio project, I haven't had much time to check-in. I am getting sooo excited about our RT though!!! Just going to the Friday morning class really pumped me up. :) I didn't spend the night Leanne, just drove up early Friday morning, did the class, went to lunch with the girls, and then left from there to come home. I plan to do the same thing this time, go to the Friday morning class and then head to lunch with whoever wants to go. There is a mall just down the street from the hotel. :) After the 9 o'clock class, Cathe met with us all in another room to just chat. By the time that was over, we had just enough time to shower and head to lunch. I'm up for whatever you girls are. I cannot wait to meet you guys - Kara, Peggy, Leanne & Melissa! And of course, I can't wait to see Phyllis and Catherine again. :)
 
Hi Kara! I get a little nervous about meeting new people too, but once you get there you'll feel like you've known everyone for years.

I'm so looking forward to meeting all of you! I'm up for anything on Friday: lunch, shopping, whatever! It'll be alot of fun and I'm sure there will be more people looking for something to do on Friday.

I'm getting a little nervous about what time to leave on Friday morning and whether or not I'll either run into to traffic and be late or not hit any traffic and be super-early!! I guess I'd rather be super-early that way I could stop by the hotel and see if anyone needs a lift. If anyone notices me sleeping on the lobby sofa, please wake me up!!!

Melissa - I left my house at 5:23 a.m. I made it to Philly around 7:15 a.m. and thought I was going to have major trouble getting through. There was a little back-up right when I got on the "Surekill" Expressway, but it was because of a small accident and as soon as I was past it, I made great time. I ended up arriving at the hotel (to see if anyone needed a ride to the club) at 8:02 a.m. on the dot. The club is another 15 minutes south from the hotel. Best to get to the club by 8:30 a.m. to get a step and get situated. You will need those 2 emergency forms with you when you come to the early class, because you have to have those filled out with the gym to even take a class there. Can't wait to meet you!
