Attack of the CHeetos!

Well I am having a guilty attack. I just ate Cheetos, one of those mini bags they give you at Subway or something and I just read the fat content and its like 20 grams of fat!!!!!!!! AAGGGGGGGGGG! That is like working out for five hours! I hate it when I do that! So guilty me is going to be running 4.5 miles and doing pilates today and might have to tack on C&W to make up for that :(

So frustrating! I have a job where there is NEVER healthy food nearby and my banana was rotting so I just grabbed what was handy! x( x( Anybody else have a similar story? today ?

Well about 5 milk duds just jumped from the box into my mouth...I hate it when that happens!

One thing I try to do for emergencies when I forget food is have a few frozen dinners in the fridge at work (not the best, but better than the choice I'd make if I go out), protein powder (worse case scenario mix it with water and gag it down) with oatmeal.

You shouldn't have to go crazy to make up for a few Cheetos (my favorite)....if you don't eat "bad" foods all the time, your body shouldn't store fat from one tiny Cheeto binge.

I would hope, anyway.

I agree with Sonja. One small bag of cheetos is not going to hurt for just one day, it is when you make a habit of it is when you will have to worry...consider today to be your cheat day then! I love anything with cheese in it and cheetos are one of my favorites. If I want cheetos I try to eat them early in the day, and not often. If you still feel so guilty like I sometimes do then you can always make yourself feel better by doing KPC or BootCamp. LOL

I did yesterday. I stopped at Target to pick up EAster supplies and while sitting at a very long traffic light I tore into a bag of assorted Kit Kats and Resee cups. My gosh those were good! White chocolate w/ peanut butter. yuummmy!
The bunny was looking tempting too, but try explaing why the Easter Bunny gave chocolate bunny without any ears. hahaha

I just got hit with an attack of the hot cheetos. I went to Wal Mart at lunch (while hungry) and they were at the checkstand telling me that they wanted to go with me. I ate half the mini bag and am going to save the other half for a possible attack tomorrow}(

It is my reward for working out so hard lately and changing my eating habits.;)

I am having problems with the Cadbury mini eggs. I just keep telling myself they are out only once a year so I don't feel so bad!

Just an FYI, I am not sure if you are familiar with the "Baked" chips, but they just came out in the past few months with Baked Cheetos that I think only have 3 grams of fat (not entirely sure). Now, this still would not qualify for a healthy snack, per se, but at least it's less damage than 20 grams. They taste pretty good,I think.

Like the others have said, I would not stress over it that much!!

But wait... aren't you forgetting about those wonderful marshmallow peeps!!!!!! They come in different colors now. Yumm!

Not today, but yesterday. I swiped a pack of macaroons from the grocery before checking out. An impulse buy because I was so hungry, I wanted something to stuff in my mouth while driving home.

Today's another day, and I've been good.

I just read what I wrote and am wondering: What was so bad about eating a handful of macaroons? Was that criminal? And does eating clean make me a saint? :)
