WOW, the whole freezing issue is HUGE! I have only done the cardio portions of LIC and I had one issue, but like another poster said, it is not with "freezing". It skips through a bit of the workout. If it froze I wouldn't mind so much but it skips right through, right at where they are teaching you the moves so you can "add on". That really sucks.

We are going to have a real problem if all the DVD's are like this. Normally I would not return anything, but I am thinking about it this time.:-( x(

Not blaming anyone, I am just really bummed. I HATE having to return anything!

Anyone else not having the "freeze" but having the workout just skip forward a minute or so??

Janice all 5 of mine are perfect.......I have a cheap 2006 model Magnavox from Walmart (40 bucks I think) works perfectly.... Also working fine in my 2004 Portable DVD player.
If yours arent right do return when SNM announces... thats what they want us to do...no unhappy customers in Catheland!

I have a sanyo dvd vcr combo from wal mart and a cheap wal mart Magnavox 30 buck dvd player that i have no prob with.

I personally would go to wally world and buy this little cheap player. It has no in front screen. They also had a vcr / dvd combo on sale for 49 this week.I am going to get it for work.
I think they are trying to correct the prob. with the older players or different firmware.
I think all players otta be compatble with any dvd. It is a bunch of BS. I think they do this to make you buy new ones...

All my DVDs have skipped so far. If the skips were not in inconvenient places (like during a rest or recovery period), I wouldn't bother repalcing them, but as you say, the skips come at important times in the workout.

Well, any skips suck when you pay good $$$ for videos!!

My DVD player is pretty new. Outrageous! Should we all go out to Wally World tomorrow and get new DVD players that are compatible with our DVD's??!! LOL. Oy Vey! ;-)

So far all my DVD's play fine...but I have not done B&G or Cardio fusion yet..

I do however have a super cheap $30.00 DVD player from Wally world and it plays everything great!

:)

Mine skip and I will be returning them when SNM announces their mass recall. At least SNM has acknowledged this problem and is willing to do something about it. In the past, when people have complained about problems with their Cathe DVD's, SNM has usually placed the blame on the operators DVD player. However, in all fairness to them, they've always had their lifetime guarantee. So, I've never hesitated to order from them. I own all of Cathe's DVD's and these are the only ones that have given me problems.

so far so good here. I do not think it is all of them. For as many that seem to be having problems, there are those that work fine. If yours does skip or do something funky, by all means get yourself replacements :)

My grandmother started walking five miles a day when she was sixty. She's ninety-seven now, and we don't know where the hell she is.

> I do not think it is all of them.

I believe all of them ARE defective (they specified what the defect is, a missing code of some sort), but some players are able to handle it better than others.

The point is now moot, since SNM is going to be sending replacements to all of us (which shows they consider all of them to be defective, whether or not they now play in specific DVD players).

Kathryn, you are correct. If the master is defective, all DVDs made from that master will be defective. If one DVD in a production run is defective, all the DVDs from that run are defective. Replicated DVDs are clones. Each one the same as the last, unless a change is made with the master or production line.
