Approximately How Long Are The Workouts?

Hi. I'm fairly new to Cathe's workouts. And I was just wondering if anyone who has the STS Strength Training full set can tell me: Approximately how long are the workouts, on average?

I recently received the Shock Cardio Series, and am strongly considering ordering the Strength Training series.

I work out for about 1 to 2 hours a day, and it is a great way to relieve stress for me, and I like for my workouts to be about an hour or so minimum.

I did a search here to see if this topic had already been covered, but didn't find anything, nor did I see any information about this on the shopcathe.com site.

In general they are about 50 minutes, although they range from 43 to 67 minutes throughout the different workouts. However, there is quite a bit of set up and break down time involved (which is sort of a workout in itself) in getting all your barbell and free weights prepared, the step set up as an incline bench, assembling the power tower etc. Also some pausing of the DVD sometimes to get the barbell changed and move equipment around if you are in a small space. So I try to allow 1:15 minutes total for the workout, setup and breakdown. I always do the extended stretch at the end too and that is another 15 minutes. So really for me its an hour and half commitment.
If you do these at your maximum weight you will find that even the 43 minute workout is exhausting enough that you won't need to do anything extra that day. Trust me. This is by far the best weight lifting DVD program ever produced when used in conjunction with Cathe's workout manager.

Yeah, I use my workouts to de-stress, and 35 minutes just doesn't really do it for me, you know? (I have two toddlers! LOL!) So, I like to workout for at least about an hour (often more), so your answer clarifies what I can expect.

calories burned?

Thanks so much for this time per disc print out. Is there anyway to know how many calories (roughly) each exercise burns? I'm trying to cut calories per day but still figure in the workout and don't know how many to put towards each day...even a basic number would be helpful 300? 500? ;)
