Anyone using the nutrition software?

I made the big mistake of watching the demo and now I want it. I think it would boost results from STS considerably. I journal only calories in a small tablet and have for 23 years and it's kept my weight down fairly well.
Is anyone using the software and what do you think? I may go with the 1 month deal to check it out.

You may want to do a search in the OD forum - there have been a few threads about the program there. I don't use it but what I like about it is that it tracks your nutrients too.

If you do decide to go with it, will you let us know how it works for you?

I have to watch my spending, although I admit I am intrigued about the Nutrition Component here.

Hi Amy,
Yes I will.
I probably won't order it till Monday. Sunday is usually a splurge day altho I am careful about my food intake. Plus DS & family are coming over for my famous lasagna. I checked out some of the other sites used and I like the fact on Cathe's it grades your food intake. I think that would help me eat a whole lot cleaner. Right now I'm drinking coke (which I can't really live without!)and eating cookie dough :(thanks to a fund raiser for my Granddaughter school!

I love nutrition software. It's actually more important on your splurge days. I started Nov. 08 and went through Thanksgiving and Christmas (with several parties) without gaining weight. After you put in extra's you really really want it's easy to plan the rest of the day so total is not horrible. If you use lots of packaged foods not in software it may not have complete nutrition info. Don't worry about always getting A's.
It is a good idea to try for one month first. I did and then signed for year.
I have read where some found it did not completely satisfy their expectations and wanted a refund. Of course there is no refund on this so try for month first. Remember you can print off as many days meal plans as you want in that month. If you eat pretty much the same all the time, you could plan 6-8 weeks and print out and not need to order year. I never know in advance what I will want to eat so I will always need this. I found I eat pretty well but was always eating an extra 100-200 calories a day and that stopped weight loss.

I am

I just ordered the 3 month package.

When I did a search a while ago, I saw some people really liked it and others were disappointed based on limited special needs food (gluten free, and not a lot of choices for healthy pre-packaged foods, like Amy's and so on). I don't eat many pre-packaged foods so that's not a problem. I can always add a custom food for the limited number of pre-packaged foods that I do eat.

When I posted a thread and asked about it, the only reply was to look at a free software. I looked at the free one it and decided this one looked better to me. JMHO

Another reason I purchased it was to make sure I didn't just use it for a week or two . If I'm paying for it I more likely to use it for the full term I pay for. Again that's just me.

I'm only on day 3 or 4 but so far I do really like it. It's easy to use. I've tried one other program about a year ago and moving or copying foods to different meals or days or even changing quantities just wasn't as easy as this software is.

I have a feeling I won't renew right away after 3 months is over since I'll be able to continue to be good for a few months without journaling.

Of course I'll probably want to start up again after to keep myself honest...
