Anyone have or ordering Hammer & Chisel?

Here is a link I found with two work sheets on it, one for Total Body Chisel (she says 35 minutes) and Iso Speed Hammer (she says 23 minutes)
She gives a review and equipment. www.weightomaintain.com
Edited to add that I just went to her link for Beachbody program worksheets and got Hammer and Chisel :D Also there is the 60 day program there too. It seems some days they use several workouts that would probably come out to around 45 minutes. I am just guessing on that though.

I just received it last night! I'm glad I ended up getting the deluxe pkg. The extra DVD (the $45 one) has two 15 minute workouts and also 2 additional workouts. It looks like Hammer Build up is about 33 min and Power Chisel is about 30 minutes. I'm looking through everything now. Not sure when I'll start-I have so many new workouts to try! And Cathe's will be coming soon too! What to do what to do. I would like to join the group of pledging not to buy more videos this year!

Hammer Build Up an Power Chisel with the two lower body workouts is why I ordered those. I am sure they will get used a lot. Generally it is the extra pack that I return to the most.

Hi all!

I got mine Thursday and ordered just the basic kit but I know I will soon be ordering the deluxe dvds. I have only done 3 workouts so far and loving them and the length of these workouts. Its all good so glad I ordered.

Merry Christmas and blessings,

Nora

Thanks for the info, Czechfan. For the 4 you've done, would you classify them as "advanced" or what? Also, were they total body? Thanks.

Sounds like something I would want to get. Who is the beachbody person some of you ordered from, if it's okay to ask that?

Hi exercise-lover,

The Hammer & Chisel workouts I have completed thus far are as follows:

Chiseled Balance- I would say its advanced and challenging. (Autum) 41 Min
The Master's Cardio- 18 Min (Bonus free when ordered through a coach or team beachbody) This has both Autum and Sagi, yes its advanced.
The Hammer Pl yometrics- 27 Min (Sagi) Advanced metabolic style.

That's all I've done so far. I still have to preview the others but if the ones I've done so far are any indication of the remaining I'd say its on par with 21 Day Fix Extreme and B0dy Beast for those that have done them but are keeping time under 45 min max. To compare to Cathe's I'd say they are in the same level as Ripped with HiiT, XTrain and a pinch of STS thrown in. I hope that helps, I'll know more when I review and do the other workouts in The Master's Hammer & Chisel.

Merry Christmas!

Nora

Thanks, Diane - this worksheet will be very helpful. I hope more worksheets are made for the other workouts. Frankly, I am surprised this series didn't come out with worksheets. My experience is they do the workouts quickly and it would be nice to prep everything ahead of time and make notes.

IVY: I noticed (too late), that depending on which coach you order through, you may get different incentives. Looks like the price is always the same, but sometimes freebies are thrown in (cookbooks, shirts, etc). Had I known, I would have shopped around for the freebie I would enjoy.

Gobias, if you go to the link I gave and click on The Masters Hammer and Chisel Resources: The Ultimate Review and Guide There is a printables Beach Body Workout Sheets and I got all of them there and printed them. I was too late when I saw the question about ordering. Sometimes I purchase from Amazon when I get Amazon gift cards. I have a coach and she was so helpful when I had an injury and had not done all of my Les Mills Pump workouts and the return time had expired. BB told me it was too late but she called and got them to replace the workout that was not working for me. I don't know how Total Fitness is with that. I have ordered from there too. I think it depends on how much the coach is into challenge groups and small workout groups that they do etc. which affects what level they are. That is probably why some give even more extra things.

Can anyone describe the diet? I'm looking to lose some fat. Is it more like the 1200-1400 cal bracket for the typical 145 lber?

I got mine yesterday. Diet is 21 day fix based which is portion control. So I'm at the below 1500 cals. I did Chisel balance. Can't do that plyo Bulgarian split squat knee up move and pistol squats. Modified due to being very sedentary. Today hamstrings are mad at me.

Cupcake, I did the 21 DF workouts for 3 month, on the 21 DF diet plan I was under the 1500 cal range. I pumped mine up to the next range and still lost a lot of weight. Everything else was pretty much the same, except I ate a little more the protein and vegetables :)

I might just do that because I remember being very hungry on 21 Day Fix. I used to laugh at what they used to say about ...." How am I supposed to eat ALL this food?" and I'm thinking..."What food?" I guess my appetite is just unusually huge?
I tried Hammer Plyo today. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I'm saying that from a couch potato since September perspective. Cathletes would find it easy. It ain't no Crossfire or IMAX.
I added more warm up and still felt hamstrings complain. I better add some flexibility stuff too. I'm not sure yet what I think of the series but I don't hate it so far.
More like a ... Meh.
