Anyone else workout with no AC?

I could never work-out w/ Air. Our Central Air took a turn for the worst yesterday, :(
Don't have the $ to fix right now. Looks like I will be going to the gym or doing my workouts early morning.

Wow, I'm kinda shocked this thread is still going strong.:) Just wanted to jump back in and share my Garmisch experience.

As we drove up to the city, I was immediately awed by the mountains. They are just breathtaking!!! The first night we walked around the pedestrian area and took in the cool mountain air (ahhhhh! Talk about not needing AC!) The next day we took a hike around the Eibsee (a crystal blue lake with amazing views of the mountains), which was a great first hike. I've never seen real mountain biking before! I am so shocked at the intensity of those bikers riding their bikes UP mountains! And going DOWN! Terrifying!! So hard core!

The next day I *attempted* to go up the Zugspitze (the tallest mountain in Germany). After seeing what the cable car was like up close (it was packed full of people - adding claustrophobia to my fear of heights), I tried to take the train up. After seeing the first shear drop of I don't know how many thousands of feet, I had to get off the train and go back down. :-( I did get some good views in though. Later that day we hiked halfway up another mountain and strangely enough, I wasn't scared of that at all. It was 45 minutes of a 25-30% incline. Incredible! I can't wait to hike another mountain!!! I can't wait to go back and do some more hiking and kayaking!!

peace out,
C

Most of us in N.Europe don't have air conditioning. usually dose not get that hot for long due to the Gulf Stream. Bad weather moving in from west. French Open rained off. You'll cool of soon! Enjoy the heat whilst you have it! We DO.....
