I'm with you I much prefer step workouts. I have KM, KPC, CTX Kickbox, and Cardio Kicks, but I can hardly make myself do them. Sometimes it's fun, but not very often. I love RS, SB and LIC. I'm hoping Cathe makes another all step workout soon.
You know, I used to prefer Step Only workouts...Just recently though, I have been reaching for my kick-boxing workouts, I just love them...Maybe it's the difference I saw in my core & lower body, did wonders for me!!
I'm with you on this one, but yes, I do think we are in the minority. Even on P90X, I know a lot of folks like Kenpo, but I don't so much. Yup - it's a kickboxing workout. I don't know why, but I just don't like them. I don't have Cathe's kickbox workouts in my rotations - I've tried them and just would much rather do something else. Bring on the step workout anyday!!
I actually like step a lot better than kickboxing. I have to make myself do it. I might get it in once a month if that. Step is just so much fun. You are not alone.
I would much rather than Step than Kickbox. I kinda don't "get" kickboxing. The only kickbox I do is kickbox inspired step. That I like, but the straight kickbox, er no!
I find myself doing step a lot more than kickboxing. But I do love a good punching session. Like Cathe says, it makes me feel "tough". It does tone up my arms, too.
Step is my favorite form of cardio. I try to do hi/lo, kickboing, and other forms of cardio for cross training. A kind VFer is loaning me Amy Bento's new hi/lo workout so I can try before I buy. I'm hoping I love it b/c I NEED to do different types of cardio, but I do LOVE step. It is my favorite!

Sorry, but I prefer kickboxing over stepping any day. My feet can't handle stepping anymore so I do mostly kickboxing now. I can modify some step workouts to make them better for me and I still do IMAX 1 once every 5 or 6 weeks but even it hurts my feet if I try to do the whole workout at one time, so I break it up.
